lollypop, good for u. In SG, everywhere u go almost the same price, even got sale, all standard one... 20% max. Hahaha. So i just buy at kiddy palace coz sometimes their things offer price liao and is cheaper than robinson/iseten/take etc

when i know my hb, i didn't realise he is msian until much later. He is very localised cos he has been here since young.

Yup, KL is big and a lot more places to travel n makan. Sometimes we drive to other states during weekends to explore, quite fun.

The milk powder issue fr M'sai is this. Actually in S'pore shops you have to check too. Sometimes, some econ minimart sell v cheap cheaply becoz they are imported from Thailand or other Asian ctries. mostly from thailand or somewhere else. But more importantly, the ingredients used are cheaper and from what i know different and not sure if more inferior. The original formual should come from netherlands for the similac brand, the import should be from europe. That is why I also don't buy from M'sia.

I also delivering in Mt E. Last time took single bedded, now take double. But now regret becoz my elder girl can't stay with me whole day. If I not wrong, nurses are v strict with visitors in the double bedder. I shall try psycho my hubby to upgrade me to single bedded, so got freedom. I also want my bb to room in with me too....

don't worry so much. I realise that the wt also not as impt as the measurements and maturity. Wt does not really equate with maturity. But, it is impt to birth a good size bb as they have lesser health risk when they grow older. Also, newborns tend to lose weigth on the first few days, so the heavier they weight, even if they lose wt, they can "afford" it....smile ok...

hahaha..ya loh..i told him last nite..we are arranging gathering..he like har??? sure or not??? then i told him fruitee gace birth liao..she sms me..he said har??? wah...u all so close till sms ah??? then i just tell him ya lah..then wat....nobody to tok to mah...so must tok to ppl with same frequency loh..can or not?? he just kept quiet....

Kin, my annum milk i bought from cold storage and the shop downstairs are like cheaper by $1, but when i compare the nutrition value they are the same.. also they are packaged in mlaysia too. How to tell the difference in ingredients? Are they allow to use cheaper ones? Wont they get sued or something?

Thanks kin for yr assurance, I think my gyane is trying to explain this logic into me too... coz im abit paranoid, since mummies all over are like comparing weights.. and I am like totally clueless abt it...
 
PM - OIC, by then you will be comfy with your mother role liao. My obgyn also don't tell me the weight of BB. He always measure my tummy. Said that the weight is just an estimate and not accurate.

Hi Kin,
I heard from the customer service officer at Mt E that they can help to arrange for a crib for a younger sibling to bunk in together with mummy & baby at the 1-bed ward. Mayb it's a good idea to choose a 1-bedder cos then ur whole family can stay together with the newborn.

When u say the nurses at 2-bedder are very strict with visitors, does it mean they will limit the number of visitors for each time or stop visitors from visiting after official visiting hours? Cos I'm also taking 2-bedder.
 
Good morning mummies.. think today i'm the earliest liao. Finally had a good sleep last night. maybe becos the previous 2 nights didn;t hav enuf sleep and nv take nap. so wake up make breakfast and coffee for hubby before he go work. Think durin gmy pregnancy, his life very good. Always hav breakfast ready for him before he go out.hahaaha..

I really envy your hubby. Hot nice, warm, 'ai xin' breakfast waiting for him before he goes to work! My hubby complain he got only peanut butter and jelly sandwich almost everyday that he resolve by telling me not to prepare for him anymore. He'll have breakfast with his colleagues. Haiz..... break my fragile heart.

Mount E really seems very nice. How I hope to have my boy to bunk in with me when I stay in hospital too. But my hubby don't even want to stay with me! And my MIL don't like that idea of having my boy staying in hospital. So sad lei.

Give your hubby some time to get used to the closeness that mummies will have in this forum. My hubby was shocked too when I was constantly on my phone smsing mummies from this forum and gossiping around. We even took leave to go out shopping during all the baby fairs last year! Ha ha ha, my hubby now resigned to fate that I'm already sucked into the influence of the 'bad' company in this forum. Ha ha ha.....

There was once I bought my milk powder from Malaysia. Ok la, it saved me about $8.90 per tin, but can really taste the difference! Err... I mean I can taste the difference, not my boy. He still blur blur take everything. But one thing that really surprise me is, he actually developed Phlegm. My boy is on Isomil, which normally won't let kids develope phlegm. After that lesson, I won't buy milk powder from Malaysia anymore!

My Gynae said by week 37 or 38, I'll be induced no matter what liao. Cos my blood pressure really unstable. Thus, very soon, I'll see my second prince. Really wonder will he look exactly like his brothers? Ha ha ha.....

My hubby also not staying wif me when i go hospital leh.. cos his the kind who cannot anyhow sleep at anywhere kind.. so i just decide to go 4 bedder, then can save some money also. Besides i thinking, 1 person xinku then 2 person.. so i let him off to go home and sleep after i deliver..

So envy u, angeline.. going to see ur prince soon... when is my little prince coming out?

hahaha..yesterday really very active...nite time so so loh...hahahaa....my poor hb..sun even hv breakfast at hm. he always eat with colleagues..cos workplace got canteen mah..somemore he leaves the hse early in the morning 5 plus 6..me not goingt o wake up that early to prepare breakfast..hahhaha..poor man...

ur gynae clifton rite?? so will u go natural or c-sect??? clifford said my bb too big..haiz...so if till 38 weeks or more..then he thinks c sect for me is safer..but i want natural so i always pray my boy will come out real soon to avoid that..cos no one to do confinement for me and that means i cant rest on bed for weeks...hehhee

hahaa...my hb can sleep anywhere and anytime..but hor dun want to waste $$$ loh..let him rest for 2-3 nites...then after go home with bb...he will have to go on battlefield liao..hahaha
