my hb dun trust Msia gds one..especially hor...for consumption...dunno loh..he said not the same...then hor..some medical shop sell milk powder cheaper than ntuc or other supermarkets..he rather pay more and get from ntuc...he dun want to take the risk..hehe..so i oso dunno leh...

i dunno ley, i think the milk powder is really different from SG ones according to the nurse also. but hb's cousins' kids all stay there n took the milk powder, all ok ley. maybe cannot switch from Sg to MY ones, not compatible. Aiyo, i also headache. Seems like very stupid to buy from SG n bring back to KL when they also have it there.

dun care la, until then, see how lor.

i going to get dinner and watch tv liao. chat again later. ciao...

if ur bb starts on msia one..then maybe can loh..but if switch here and there maybe got prob..hmm...i think oso must depend on the bb's system loh...

HI mummies, I am just back from gyane visit... nothing much.. no updates on weight too coz gynae no tell me.
MTDT, i think medela is quite good. Which pump u using noe?

Another gf using Medela, she also said good. It depends on individual. Then there is the Avent IQ Duo also.

I bought the manual Avent ISIS breastpump cos a lot of my gfs also using. they even use at work to pump out n store.
 
Hi mummies,
Just went for Mt E hospital tour. For those mummies delivering in Mt E, u may wish to take note.

Internet connection is available in the ward, but is dial-up connection & have to request their technician for it. But it's FOC.

Can bring own music CD to the delivery suite as they have CD player inside.

Baby is allowed to room-in with mummy 24hrs if mummy staying in 1-beded warded. Otherwise, baby will b pushed out after 8pm.

Camera & HP camera is allowed inside delivery suite, but video cam is not allowed.

Mt E currently feeding NB babies with Similac if they are not breastfed.

how come ur gynae no tell u ur bb's weight??? u can ask her wat..u never ask ah???normally who accompany u to checkup?? ur hb ah?
 
Dsiitan, I woke up quite late today, around 12 plus. After that acc my hubby go cut hair at compass pt. By the time come back almost late for appt liao.

Reach gynae place at 2.40pm and end my appt at 5 plus. very sian and tired, got to wait so long... I told gynae that I am abit worried abt BB's weight, he said why i worry, he's more worried abt his maturity. As long as he comes out 40 weeks he ok liao. I told him coz if too small i will eat more, if too big then maybe will have difficulty in giving birth. He say dont worry, i am already putting on alot of weight lioa. As for if BB big, he will help me with that and ask me to rest assured.

Also he said he wont induce bb coz he dont want to go against nature.He says the weight is only estimate, if really big and induced, sicarly wrong how? So he dont want to take this kind of "risk"... when he manually checked my tummy he also say my bb is not small...

Then we also talked abt birth plan. he say he will only do C-section in 3 cases, one is no progess during birth, 2nd is baby distress, 3rd is BB heartbeat low or not stable. Other than that he will let me try natural.
 
Oh as for who acc me.. haha usually I am alone loh. the last visit gyane ask me to ask hubby come... then today he no see him.. he said "
u got no supporter arh.. then how?" "who's going to bring u in??"
 
Then hor, the gyane very cute, he spoke to me in hokkien and say.. durian is not ripe yet, u dont go and pluck the durian... if durian ripe it will fall by it self..

your gynae is young or old one? i think he writes for Motherhood or Mother&Baby's column. saw his name there. No wonder u have to wait so long for his appointment. Sure charge expensive one.

ur gynae quite gd hor...not like others a bit ask to do c sect liao...aiyo..earn more har like that...? u accompany ur hbby to cut hair but he didnt acc u to gynae?? so he on leave or not har?? if yes..y not acc u to gynae?? aiyo..how come like that...from SK to glenE not near leh...me go alone to gynae cos only 10-15mins bus journey...ard pasir ris too..so still ok..last time my gynae at mt e..i always book sat appt so that my hb dun hv to take leave and go with me..hehehe..ur hb not kan cheong to see his #1 meh???

hee..., actually there are some more tv shows to watch, but sianz to watch alone. Later or tomorrow still can catch cos repeat telecast on cable.

yeah, hb will be back tomorrow evening, no need to eat dinner alone liao.

yes u can fax to them. call them to tell them u are faxing, then ask them to call u to confirm receipt. No need to mail original. i keep in my hospital bag, just in case.
 
lollypop, he's with some "organisation" and like very active one loh..always appear in TV and give advises to those who write to the papers regarding fertility (i think)

He is off today, he works on shift one... and he's going reservist in July. He hates the wait that's why he ddint go with me.. only the first time.. after he long jiao the waiting he decides not to follow me liao. HAhahA. I take taxi there and claim from him loh. He arh. i dunno leh.. he's those kind of "seeing" man.. he have to see the BB then he will like "react". like before my tummy not so big.. now big liao then he start to show abit of concern like that..

aiyo..y ur hb like that?? must accompany big tummy mah..hehee...nobody likes to wait wat..who wants to waste time waiting for few hrs...but if u hv to..then hv to loh..no choice mah. aiyo...then next time he will help u take care of bb or not??? so worried he will not help u leh....

Sandy - Wah, your BB head down on W25? So quick! lol...yup, sometimes tummy lop-sided...so funny!

lollypop - yup, me too have mild contractions...I guess its false contractions coz everyone is saying the real ones is so painful till you cannot tahan, cannot talk also. Good luck with your appt tomorrow!

hong - Wah, your PIL really good overall...lucky you! Of course there will still be some nagging and so forth coz of the generation gap. At least they don't go all the way to kena you mah!

dsiitan - Serious ah? Don't believe in Msian goods? Some of the things here also come from Msia leh.

PMummy - At least now you know your options. Yup, me same...natural birth, hopefully. Wah, your obgyn so cute ah? My obgyn did mentioned that the weighing is not accurate..just an estimation.
 
Haha dsiitan, i think i can more or less guarantee that he wont really help to take care unless he thinks i cant cope. Coz right now i am like buying BB stuff and everything alone, even deciding the hospital...he says he will just leave the decision to me. Yah loh lollypop, i also use to it liao.

In fact, my MIL scolded him for not fetching me....

cos we not working mah, so hb expect us to be independent and handle things on our own. me also same like u, unless its heavy stuffs i cant carry, then i ask him to help. anyway, he quite stress at work, so i dun blame him.

that's right! I've been on no-pay leave for few months liao due to complications earlier. When I go for c-sect, I'll activate ML.

its not that hb can't be bothered. he will always call me after my appointment to check things out. He is in MY working, difficult to fit into the medical appt time. He doesnt like to go shopping unless necessary and he is paranoid abt the way i shop, hahaha...cos i very hiong when go shopping, he can't stand it. Already cut back a lot since i stopped working...hee
 
wa, dunno if its the weather is hot or my body temperature rising? i am perspiriing so much in front of the pc with the fan on. Cannot believe it! Are u ladies also feeling the same way? have to on the aircon to get to nap or sleep every nite.
