It's thick discharge with blood. Other symptoms include persistent menstrual cramp kind of pain, lower back ache, lots of contractions and when it contracts, even my lower bad feels tightened and most importantly is bb's head is engaged and gynae is able to touch the head when he did VE.

Mummies do u all perpire alot? I can perspire even in aircon room or just after shower. Sometimes I feel like a stinky pig in the afternoon.. and so uncomfy at night, with the perspiration n heavy discharge....

me too! I perspire like no body's business!! I shower 2-3 times a day. I wake up in the middle of the night sweaty and sometimes even need to change PJ bcoz it's too wet! even with aircon on!

Seems like the thread has quieten down at this timing. Mostly i think went home liao bah.

Poppy, i am like a sweaty pig loh.. So fat and the perspiration make me so stinky. PUB bills surely shoot up coz i on the aircon like 24 hrs? and keep using water to shower.

poppy, i wd wake up to switch on the fan when it auto off (with the aircon blowing in the backgrd), coz felt stuffy.

Tol hb expect to "pay more" during confinement.. most prob cant use fan i wd blast the aircon. Hee..

Hahaha, yah loh.. during confinement i think the bills will reach its peak. BTW, do u all intend to let BB sleep in aircon room? Coz if BB going to sleep with us they wil be in aircon? I dont wan BB to have habit of sleeping w aircon also it's not very good for health too...

usually i will off aircon after on for 3-4hrs..then on fan loh...cos my hb hor..very pai mian...cannot sleep in aircon room...will sneeze and sneeze...hahahaha....

i oso dunno if bb can tahan fan or not hor...

my electricity bill also shot up. last time i only switched on the fan, no air-con. but now with air-con switched on till 3am every nite, the bill rised like nobody's business... aiyo i only switched on till 3am every nite my bill already increased so much. cant imagine if i switch it on most of the time during confinement, duno what the bill will be liked! hubby's pocket sure to have a big hole... kekeke..

paranoidmummy, during confinement, wd like bb stay wif the CL (most probably).. bt the room like kinda stuffy.. perhaps on the aircon loh.. if not very hot i feel.
 
gebberra, at least u off the aircon.. i din.. hehe.. cant leh, pref the room to be cooling.
har noh.. i dunno y i am on "auto-pilot", fan off i am up. Coz i wd on 1hr then auto off. Last nite woke up 2x to on back the fan. If on throughout like kinda cold.
 
Jazzy, ceiling fan not powerful one leh.. they can only cool the room down I think. Somemore if BB sleep with ceiling fan means he have to sleep in the living room coz only the living room has ceiling fan... and hor being paranoid, i scare the ceiling fan will swing n swing and fall onto him... so scary right~

ur hubby must hv circon on then gd loh..u can enjoy with him without guilt hahahaha..me hor..at times on till morning...he halfway went to study room to sleep..cos buay tahan the coldness..hahaha...so at times i very guilty loh..so will off the aircon after few hrs..but at times once he off to work..i auto on the aircon again..hahaha....cannot imagine whole day on aircon for 1 mth..bill how much hor???

when we do preadmision and indicate the bare minimum package i.e. no epidural, we still can opt for it during delivery if cannot tahan rt? will it take a long time for them to prepare? or do we have to tell them during admittance?

my hubby also said fan very noisy but he also dun wanna on the air con thru-out the nite cos he scared to see the "shocking" bill. end up he opt to "ren" the fan noise loh. keke...

my hubby kept asking why i can wait up so automatically once the air-con is off...

i think as long as the fan is rotating and not facing 1 direction, is fine for baby. i also dont intend to on air-con if baby is sleeping with us. dont want it to become a habit.

u can ask for epi during ur early stage of contraction...if ur dilation is more than 3 cm..i dun think can liao...or if contraction very bad...cannot ask last min...normally the doc will come in half an hr to do it for u loh...

if u tell them u need epidual they will standby the doctor for u. If not they may grab whoever is free is do for u.

Sleeping in aircon room - unless is a very cooling nite, i cannot tahan without aircon especially these period. I think i will sleep in aircon during my confinement.

me too leh...once fan or aircon off...i will wake up..hahaha..my hb can sleep without aircon and fan ..u know ah..there was once time power tripped...aircon and fan off..so i woke up and whole hse so quiet ...and stuffy..then i asked him no power ah?? how come he dunno...u know what he said..NO WONDER I CAN SLEEP SO SOUNDLY...wah piang..funny man hor...too bad he married one woman who loves aircon..and had a son who loves aircon too..if he marry some1 who is like his pattern ah..think hor..power supply co sure shake head,, his $$ difficult to earn

I won't be bringing going-home clothes. I'll wear the same clothes (dress) when I was admitted into hospital. Anyway, we hve to change to hospital gown immediately after we checked in, right?
I will bring a short sleeve shirt &amp; pants for bb &amp; will cover her with a cap &amp; receiving towel during discharge. Will also bring mittons &amp; booties...

Wow... I did the same thing last year when I went to deliver my boy at TMC. I wear the same clothes home when I discharged. My MIL was like so angry cos it's a black dress. Ha ha ha.... think I'll change to other colours this yr bah.

Congrats to you! This Friday!!! Who knows I'll be on the same day? I'll be checking in with my Gynae again this Thursday. Ha ha ha, my Gynae said he really earn no money out of this patient of his. Have to go for so many appt! Ha ha ha....

I face the same issue as you. No matter weather cold or not, I must must must sleep in aircon room. But it's been many days since I'd had hubby beside me liao. Cos he got sensitive nose, and cannot sleep in aircon room. Haiz.... now in a big dilemma whether to stop sleeping in air-con room or not.

I'm still having HBP and now taking pills to control my pressure. Doc took my blood test and told me everything is normal for me, except that my enzyme something something is increasing, and my another thing is decreasing, which also means, I will not be meeting full term. Anytime will have to induce or C-section baby out liao. Haiz..... so demoralized.....
 
Angeline, thanks...at first we were thinking of 07/07/06 but MIL check the dates saying 06 is better so chose 06/07 lor...I work until this friday and start to get prepare to see my baby...

just came back from TPS today and at 34 weeks, my baby's only 2.1kg. Perhaps due to my viral infection and asthma which I'm thankfully am slowly recovering from.

Btw, has anyone had a low fetal weight child at 34 weeks? How's your child's weight now?

I have abt two ore weeks to pump myself up or rather the baby, hopefully baby can gain a few more pounds. Any tips?

Eeh 060706 is a nice date, me also wish to deliver on that date.. so will choose to induce on 050706 ...cause may cross over to the next day ya...

My bb suffered fr low fetal wt since 20 wks. At 33 wks was 1.9kg, 35 wks was 2.1kg .then at 36 was 2.4kg.(after which doc advised induction was bb was not growing much) He gave me 10 days to see how.Within this 10 days, i didn't eat durian. Instead I ate 4 -5 slabs of beef steak(home cooked sirloin)western style. At next appt, 37wk, bb was 2.7kg amd doc was satisfied and say no need induction anymore. So that is my story.
