they exchanged numbers and called each other to chat...see those at my place here...sent kids to sch..then got to know wach other..then exchange numbers..took pix...everyday at one corner tok loud laff loud..and few of them maciam no need do work one....after sent kids to sch...at coffeeshop la kopi eat roti..pengz...my current one with mil...more jialat...phonebook all men;s numbers...asked her she said her frens intro one...then was spotted once at neighbourhood foodcourt makan with dunno thai or banghla worker having tea...she told us she went to buy someting...piangz...she was grounded for mths after that

Ya, my maid is my ex-part time helper's sis (she worked for me for 5 yrs, so quite safe).
Can your maid speak English/Mandarin? Some Indon maids can speak very good dialect also. I heard and witnessed some of those younger ones that can pick up languages pretty fast.

Try not to intro friends to ur maid. My maid has no friends at all, until a few mths ago she got to know some maid at my boy's PG. They taught her to buy handphone, gave her things and they compare their salary.

and hor,not just salary..oso the amt of hse chores they need to do..wahlau...like that oso can compare....if ur maid happens toknow more..wonder they will discount on the hardwork bo...
dun worry they very lonely no one to tok to...u cna try to chit chat with them..ask her abt her life in indo...her frens there..her family...her culture..etc..be nice to them..let them know u will be there to listen if she needs a listening ear..like tat more nicer right..so at least u know what is she thinking rather than they go to their frens....

Tell you hor, my maid met some of her 同类on her flight from Philippines to Singapore. That was the 1st time I saw her, so I asked her who are those people waving to her. She told me frankly they met on the flight then exchanged phone numbers.
I told her those look like CHICKEN, she better dun mix with them. Hahaha... ...
Anyway, I have already stated to her very clearly that if she try anything funny, she will lose her job. It really depends on the person's mentality and working attitude.
They are here to work, earn $ and send back $ to feed their family. If they don't care, then there is nothing much we can do also.

Also, she has rest days, so sure cannot control her go outside mingling with other people. Just have to keep reminding her, her purpose of working in SG: To earn $ to feed her family.

zita ya we allow her togoout..like buy stuff, marketing etc...we treated her very nice..she go marketing jsut pass her like $50-$80..to buy watever she thinks she wanna cook...come back just pass the balance to my bil...but cosbo receipt oso dunno got correect change bo..hahaha...then she go buy makeup..go downstairs oso must put on hazeline cream..wah piang...i think if 2 of us go down together..i look more like bui bui maid..hahaha....she siad she dark liao..must put on something to prevent getting darker...pengz
