For ON - yes, there is US tax. but heard from my fren tat their shipping is lower. so tat's offset more than the TAX amt

Actually bdl & Vpost almost the same. All calculate by volumetric weight except bdl no base charge? However they also go by US credit card rate to convert the charges from USD to SGD. so also depend very much on the exchange rate (by Citibank). I still prefer Vpost because if have 12% discount, it helps reduce the shipping charges sometimes even cheaper than bdl.
 
ylc - the uob 12% discount is not for every shipment now, only for one time use (which i use long ago)

so no use for me.

Another diff
Vpost - GST chargable for orders more than SGD400 per merchant.
BDL - GST chargable for orders more than SGD400 per SHIPMENT

great diff as means for vpost, i can hv 3 orders (diff merchant) and combine into 1 shipment (share shipping cost) whereas for BDL, i cant.

no prob. the stuff moving quite fast. the alternative you gave also oos liao.

hmmm....so bdl or vpost cheaper? bdl incurs us tax but vpost has base charge.

Aiyah... you shld have told me... i got 10% off vpost! Can give you the code! Every mth, vpost can only use the 12% once for uob. But for the 10% i think no need to use UOB, any card will do.

If you have vpost discount, vpost might be cheaper than bdl... but if you have multiple shipments lah then more worth it cus all shipments can share the base charge and each merchant up to limit of S$400.

I feel like I am vpost promoter! hahaha cus they always give me free movie tickets!

Heard negative things about comgateway leh... so dun really trust it.. but it ties in with HSBC card... they say sometimes have free shipping... but they also take ages to deliver your things/wrong calculations. so have to do your own sums lor.

Can share which provider boardband did you use? Is it unlimited? How much per mth? I got a shock yesterday when I got my pac net bill from normal $26 shot up to $100++ as mine was not unlimited.

I am using MIO from singtel, resi line + my hb's Hp plan + 3Mbps Unlimited Access...think abt $70++ nia

misaryeo, i've not tried shipping bath and body works from US b4 so not sure of the shipping cost yet... btw they have outlets near your place??
 
my broadband is $18.40 a month 2 MBPs nia.. by starhub.... \if not use to playing games. then shlde be sufficient.
