Ya. So we quite paranoid now and keep monitoring Emma, coz K was hugging and kissing her a few times everyday.

Hubby cleaned the entire house liao, including his toys and furniture. And I'm washing all his clothes and sheets too. My house smells like hospital now. When my PT cleaner comes tom, will ask her to add dettol to the water and do another round.

Your MIL very good eh....still let you bathe... My mum nags me to death about bathing...but I dun care. Weather sooooo hot!

Hb wants 4 kids. But with K down with HFMD now...that day he say maybe stop at 2 can liao....hahahaha. So see how lor.... think if have #3 I will wait till Emma is bigger like 3 or something. It's still a lot to handle when they are 2yrs.

My MIL will make "suggestions" to me then I just "orh". But if she becomes naggy then my hb will tell her off. But it's easier for me to fend off my parents and he fend off his to avoid conflicts.
 
Jul, so poor thing..u doing yr confinement now and yet got to clean up the hse..must be v tiring for u..hope K recover fastest so that he can be "united" with u again

which bungalow did u get for bintan?? issit the angsoka villa or banyan biru? everything there is in SGD$$.. u can change is bit of rupiah if u want but they all convert to sing dolla to sell to u. dun bother with the pasar oleh oleh.. there is a new pasar opp the oleh oleh but i also heard its very expensive.. best shopping is at the ferry terminal 'the real bandung factory outlet' ... go an early before u go back to shop... quite chaep!!
 
ep, yes is Angsoka..been there a couple of time..agree that pasar oleh oleh got nothing..we usually go there to swim, eat & sleep..ha..

thanks. actually not I clean...my hubby clean. hehe. i do the laundry. This time round, confinement or not no difference to me. Life goes on as per normal...

He was kissing her before his hfmd symptoms showed up. nope he doesn't get jealous when i latch. we just tell him mei mei drinking milk milk. he's very loving to meimei actually. everyday also want to see her, sayang her and kiss her.

K is such a good kor kor. I hope my C will be the same when her mei mei is born.
Oh, must pray for Emma's protection against HFMD... must have absolute faith like Emma does ... kekeke

i jus went to angsoka 5 last may.. the villa is a bit out of the way.. not much to do around.. we brought ALL the food ourselves... Instant noodles, bbq food, curry, pies, cakes etcs.. carry like mad!! the seafood at the kelong place is nice n cheap.. we hired the mini van $80 for 3 hrs.
the beach was good.. picked alot of clams on the beach n bbq them...

U take care. It's easier for K to take cold food now (like yoghurt and ice cream) to ease the ulcer pain. Really lucky that K loves Emma. I hope Joshua will do the same too next month.

Most likely I am not gg, will be giving the place to YB & gang..initially wanted to bring my hb family to occupy the first 3 days and YB take over the last 2 days..but now seem like my hb family quite half hearted..so see whether YB & gang want lor..btw, I went for that concept travel thingy le..u r their members??

let me briefly go through wat they do on sat class...

last sat was eng class
1) firstly...they start wih a song of scuba diva using flash card
2) they then give each student a small fish tank, full of paper algae, ask gerrard to blow, then he can find a small fish inside...in fact gerrard was quite amazed, he actually ask me ,"what is this" so loud
3) then he ask the kinds to go touch the wall, the pictures on the wall are covered up velcro, and only when they pulled the velcro, then they will know what was behind....
4) the teacher then play "photo memory" game... very funny cos gerrard actually remember the sequence of the fishes
5) we practise writing "N" "n" "M" "m"
6) 3songs----abc song etc...all with flash cards
7) then came the speed flash card...the teacher do super speed flashing and reading...i nearly got crossed eye...
think there are some other things that were covered...too lengthy to go through all
 
the class was quite different from kids loft but gerrard seems to enjoy it...

in fact, i enjoyed them too esp during the jap class...

i am also very impressed by the handicrafts of the materials used in teaching

very very nice

in fact, my bb gal also attend the class in another room with hubby... we choose to have 2 class concurrently with 2 kids at the same time

they actually waive off annual member fee-$50and gave a $43 discount--national day promo...

so was very worth it

for schichida...the waiting list is very very long... in fact i registered and pay deposit since jun... but they say the time slot i want is only possible in jan09.. that's y i try Little neutro tree..

btw, i personally find the teachers teach with enthusiasm

Hope K ok soon. Yes, it is not easy with a NB and a sick tod. K must have missed mummy very very much. Dettol doesnt really kills the germ. Shld use bleach, the ratio is 1:100. My sister told me.

U will be surprised how strong NB immune system be. Emma may be OK.

I brot two kids out on Sat, taking public transport. I was thinking I can manage two now. What if I have a 3rd one?

Yes, there're 4 rooms in the bungalow. 1 double rm (with attached bathroom), 2 twin rooms & 1 single room. There're also 2 common bathrooms, full kitchen + living room.

How to carry so many things from Sg to Bintan? U hire mini van to ferry u from ferry terminal to the resort? Then need to carry ice-box also?

ya lor.. carry soo many thing.. there is free shutttle bus from ferry terminal to bintan lagoon. then from there take buggy to the bungalow. all the bbq stuff put in big ice box (chicken wing/lamb/beef/porkchop)
The amt of food brought there fed 8 adults, 4 kids. only had lunch at the kelong.. 3 main meals + 2 tea time) bungalow has its own private pool. to travel ard bintan, must pay for the bus service.

Wah! So how many ice box u brought along? Haha..sounds like 'moving hse'. Really ex to makan in Bintan arh? Then if self cook, need to bring pots & pans? plus clothings & necessities..wah..really lotsa stuff.

Amanda - Thanks for the info on the classes, sure sounds interesting. But really make me wonder abt the effectiveness of the 3rd language as we seldom practise it at home.

Emerson speaks mandarin and eng at home now, his pronuniciation is quite bad, sometimes we guess real hard if he's trying to tell us in eng or mandarin.

I registered my name under the Bishan class, if it's still full next term, perhaps will join this in the HG branch.

lala, sorry didn't have time to talk to u during the class. forgotten u stayed in woodlands hor, char is in wdls during weekdays too... indeed travelling to bugis is a distance otherwise tempted to signed up too... will u be continuing for the next term class??

Ashley stop Act3 already. The class is not bad but that time ashley still doesnt really open up so i stop her plus as i have waitlisted for mandeville class liao so didnt want to continue too many classes for her.

YB/Hong, ya loh, the focus is on working mummies..gov is trying to encourage SAHM to join work force & sent their children to CC/maid..he keep giving example of how some countries can achieve high birth rate by FTWM..

Actually wat do SAHM expect to get? and where to get $$ to subsidies them? currently the workforce already alot of burden... really diffcult to add on more.

Most SAHM are by choice, they hv the $$ to choose that route. If u r SAHM due to low income, by all means go apply for all the subsidies u can for low income. if openly subsidies for ALL SAHM, how to differeniate between a "TAI TAI" and a truely need to be SAHM?

Anymore subsidies or more tax relief for maid? I'm considering one when i have no.2 if MIL cant commit. Heard the increase in CC subsidy is for low income family. I have to go buy straits times later. Hope there will be more gd news so dat i will be highly motivated to continue become FTWM yet have a 2nd kid next yr..:p
