Yah..last time Kay fever on & off for 1 wk, then develop ulcers too..doc says viral fever..not HFMD..then also got cough + runny nose.

the gp may not confirm its hfmd cos not all symptons present.. they hv to report to MOH, unless u want 2nd opinion, go to a hospital.. i went to mt A the very night the gp say wait n see.. Mt A say HFMD.
doctor said that the ulcers are tell tale signs.. mild cases of hfmd may not hv the spots.. very seldom fever hv ulcers.. could be heaty.. but at most 1-2 ulcers.. but if hv 5-6 ulcers.. its high chance lor.. then see the cc hv cases etc..
There is no medication for HFMD..u hv to wait for the case to run its course. try not to share her food too.. adult may get it.. i caught the fever n a few ulcers but no spots.. u just hv to monitor her.. eat and drink keep her hydrated..if she is not fussy n eating well.. i think she is fine..
for jedd. he was fussy and crying alot cos of the ulcers in throat.. i fed him ice cream. it will go off in a week+...
dont get me wrong.. i am not saying G has hfmd.. i m jus telling u my experience.

Dun worry i understand. Thanks for sharing. She had it before n there were not many spots as well so i already mentally prepared myself when she started to have d ulcers. She is very fussy n cranky, not eating n drinking well either,did give her ice-cream today. Difficult to apply d gel for d ulcers in her throat also...gonna be a looong weekend
 
YB, yes i put it in sharing folder when both online, it'll synchronise and u can retrieve from there. bcos 20 over photos to give so difficult to send by email.

Anyone have cold sore or recovering from cold sore kiss Gil or in contact with Gil?

I ever mention before but I think no one ever bothers. It will spreads so have clean all her toys as well.

Doc Sim gave u the ulcer cream? I ever force Janelle to let me apply the cream. I am quite bo chap, force into her....

Can try porriage water, it will cool the body down very fast and also keep her full.

No spots on hands n feet. I dunno abt d cold sore part. Ok thanks will go find out more abt it. Ya we tried to force into her but very difficult cos in d throat. She doesnt even wan to drink any water, tried so many ways until i so fed up. D only thing she is taking is FM so i use barley water with pao shen to make d milk, can only think of this method now.

Last week i took 2 days liao, really cannot take liao. Thanks for your jia you altho me n hubby feel like wan to peng san oredi. Moreover he injured himself during work on fri so kinda feeling under d weather too.

Now Gil everything also dun wan, dunno wat she wans. But other than dat she is still active n running abt as long as she forgot abt her ulcer pain.
 
Good thing there's still yr hub around and not when he's overseas...

Can get help from yr mum or MIL or not?

Next week how? Cant take leave, then Galvin will take?

doctor told me easier to feed cold stuff.. ice cream, cold milk etc.. i gave yoghurt, cold milk, cold ribena.. and cereal mix with cold milk.. if warm, hard to eat cos will be painful for the ulcers in the mouth/throat.. think jedd was enjoying his ice cream meals..
u ok? dont think u can afford to fall ill now..

all depend on u.. but if u tell yr office Gil may hv hfmd, they will let u take leave?

My mum is taking care of my sis's kids alone, MIL in BKK since jul, back end aug.

We have not decide whether to let her go CC tmr, will check if her ulcers are recovering tmr morning,cos she seems better n even finished 3/4 bowl of rice jus now.

Since Dr Sim also cant cfm it's HFMD, may ask him to sign a certificate of fitness for Gil in case d principal asks. If not, Galvin will be bringing her to work...hahaha

Im ok for now but everytime after nursing Gil to recovery will be my turn to fall sick.
They will understand lah but of cos i will be very pai seh, too frequent oredi, running out of leave, then my colleague everytime have to help cover my work.

Little Neutro centre - is something like Shichida. currently it's at bugis... but opening branches in jurong, kovan and tpy i heard.

YB - NeutroTree is enrichment class lah. once a week kind (parent company kind). cant compare with daily playgp.

or u talking abt the things they do - hmmm think they focus more on right brain development. unless ur daily playgp also have tat focus bah?

Hi mummies,

ya....K got HFMD. Was called by CC on Fri to bring him home coz got fever then Sat the blisters and ulcers came out. My parents came and took him home with them on Sat night, coz they worried spread to Emma. Fri night I din sleep much coz running between him and Emma. So xin tong to see him in so much pain. Keep crying and whining every hour that his mouth is painful....haiz. Can't see him and dun dare to call him also coz my mum say he was already asking for us and if he see or hear us will throw big tantrum after we leave....

So we busy disinfecting the house the last 2 days.

Today called the CC to tell principal that he got HFMD. Then she told me his classmate also kenna and she was sent home with fever on thurs. So most prob got it from her....

Timing couldn't have been worse...
