Hi mummies,
Finally found time to come in....
Thanks for all the well wishes! Emma is one feisty gal! Can scream till hoarse and face all red.

How you do it all on your own???!!! I wanna peng san already! No time to rest at all and aching all over.
Quite stressed trying to set routine for Emma and trying to get my milk supply going and having to handle K as well.... The poor boy missed home sooo much after 3 days with my mum. Then he was throwing tantrum trying to get my attention. The moment I attended to him, he was all ok again. Then we asked him if he missed mummy and he said yes.... so heartbreaking.... But thank god, he's very loving to Emma, always want to hug her and sayang her.

Lok,I stayed at Royal Plaza Hotel http://www.royalplaza.com.hk/ for my recent trip..quite good, got attached shopping ctr(Grand Century Place http://www.grandcenturyplace.com.hk) and has linked footway to the mtr, railway & interchange and their rooms r consider big compared to those at Tsim Sha Shui..i stayed at eaton hotel bef http://hongkong.eatonhotels.com/ which is more conv in term of food & shopping cos v near the Nathan Road (their main street) but v small room.
I heard Langham Place is nice..$$ a bit on higher side but v conv..

We are thinking of bringing my mum and MIL along. Is Royal Plaza hotel near the MTR? Or must walk a long distance cos my MIL not very mobile and can't climb stairs. We are also not there to shop (more like for disney, lantau island, maybe ocean park, the peak).

My EDD is 26 Sep but i think Jonas will be early (perhaps by a week).
My maid so far ok (other than the 1st week when she broke a bowl, chipped off my knife and had food poisoning). Learning to cook from my MIL. Can speak a little bit mandarin cos she worked in Taiwan as factory operator before. Initially, she gets very distracted at times (like staring into space). Then I set the rules (like watch what J is doing and not the tv, must praise her at times too). Can remember most of the things I tell her. Hopefully, as she gets more settled down, things will be even smoother. Joshua quite like her too.

Lok, if u r bringing elderly, then i will not recommend Royal Plaza..cos even thou it is well-linked to the public transportation..but accessing to these need a bit of leg works..maybe u can consider staying at HK island which is nearer to those places u r interested..there is one place worth visiting (w/o the elderly of cos)..Stanley Mkt..there r lots of cutted label branded clothings for kids..and are so cheap..I showed Hong some of the loots i managed to lug back

YB, can consider to go lah..wear lesser lor to reduce heat cos kids at this age koe how to appreciate the disney characters and HK disney is not that huge so still managable with the kids..

I paid 2388 for 5D4N,staying at Stanford hotel (3*), incl a nite at Disneyland. The amt is totally off peak hor.
May be hot but also summer sale season. After the week I am going, the rest of the year will be consider peak and u need to pay surcharge for almost everything. Since I can take leave why waste the $$. I can save the $$ for shopping.
Right below Stanford hotel is the Ladies street, the sport wholesale lane and a stretch of lane for food.
My package including half day city tour which my hubby said to take up cos they are going to the Peak and the Mdm Tussuad (think I spell wrongly).
We going with NanHo and going by CX.
Infact, there is alot of gift if u sign up at Natas fair. We got a Samsonite equvalent travel bag when we use credit card to pay for it. HK tourism board give each adult a havesack and each child a collar pin.

isaac ah, still in cast...thismorning went kkh for his review..then the doc said must go for op to insert wat needles to his bones..cos it is not healing in position...then went to do admission...went his ward then changed him to hospital's PJ..then settled him..signed some papers...refrained him from drinking n eating cos supposed to do op in the evening...then told him we gonna go home cos ian need to nap etc..asked him be gd boy in hosp alone..then i went for lunch etc...after a while, another doc called us up...said isaac dun hv to go op...let him heal naturally..pengz..he said iz can be discharged...asked us to do the cancellation of admission n bring him home...wahlau..think the imewe spent waiting for the admission etc..and we spent almost half a day at kkh...not that i hope he goes for oplah..but how come the docs always say different things one..one doc said this then another one said that..when the accident happened..the doc oso said must go op to put wat screw...then another one said put cast can liao...si beh jialat loh...

Hong, travelling time by bus to stanley mkt is abt 1/2 hr from central stn, the bus will pass by Ocean Park, "qian shui wan"..but hor, can be quite hot & the road quite winding leh..looks a bit like TW "jiu fen" street..the place quite rustic look..

I think usually there'll be a not so senior doc at the clinic and ward. Once the patient gets to be warded, a more senior doc, maybe surgeon will go see patient to know more about the "case". So maybe the surgeon/ senior doc realise actually dun need to op.
Btw Ian really very power.

Teacher told me yesterday that Emerson lied.
One boy was hurt on the eye and the eng teacher was writing in the communication book. Emerson ran to e chinese teacher and tell her that the eng teacher hit his eye.
We realised that ourselves too, but I didnt take it as a lie. (self deceiving?) I will just re-phrase it for him and correct him on the spot.
Am I doing the right thing? Is this really lieing?

OC - I ask the teachers, they say they will chop the veg finely and mixed it in his rice. The only thing he hates to eat is crab meat.
Sometimes I already chop the veg lioa, but he just wont eat it loh dunno why.
Fruits - Just eat like this. At home he also eats but I lazy to cut.

for the day we went A&E(the day when accident happened), the 1st review n yesterday's review all the same doc...the indian doc mentioned isaac needs to put screw inside when he 1st saw him (A&E), then another doc said no need...put cast and see how 1st..cos kids heal faster...then 1st review the same indian doc adjusted adjusted the bones so that the bones in position then changed to super hard cast..then 2nd review, the indian doc said the bones not in gd position...and must insert needles....then arranged to be warded..then all ready liao...then another doc called us up to fetch isaac home...cos he said from the xray it seems ok to him..he dun see the need to op..and 2 weeks later we'll be visiting him instead of the indian doc...

Good luck with your maid. I think language is really quite impt. That's how a lots of problems arise (and how my maid kena food poisoning in her 1st week cos she couldn't understand my MIL's mandarin). Now I tell my MIL to relay message to me and I will instruct the maid. And it is best for her to take instructions from 1 key person. My MIL told her things contrary to my instructions and she was so confused!!
I do set a generic timetable for her (like M,W,F = vacuum+mop floor, everyday cook dinner from 3pm onwards, 6pm leave the house to pick J etc).

That's how a lots of problems arise (and how my maid kena food poisoning in her 1st week cos she couldn't understand my MIL's mandarin). Now I tell my MIL to relay message to me and I will instruct the maid. And it is best for her to take instructions from 1 key person. My MIL told her things contrary to my instructions and she was so confused!!
I do set a generic timetable for her (like M,W,F = vacuum+mop floor, everyday cook dinner from 3pm onwards, 6pm leave the house to pick J etc).

May be I got referral from PD Sim on Julian condition the other time so there is one doctor follow thru his case. Till now we still dun know why his nymph node swell leh.
The doctor who said no need op is more senior than the indian doctor? U never suan them, one said need op, the other say no need. Which one shld u listen? Ask them to syn their report a bit lah. haha..
