Hmm..heard so many rave comments abt the olympics opening..too bad I missed it. Got replay or not huh?
Haha..managed to catch fireworks from my kitchen win. Kay kept asking for more when the fireworks ended.
Most prob going end of Aug before hb starts his new job in Sept. But sunway lagoon suitable or not arh? Their rides dangerous or not?
Otherwise we can go bintan/batam together also not bad hor..sand & sea..relax...OC u wanna join?

Genting- i went there 4 times alrdy.. every yr will bring the boys there to play in the theme park.
u can get the all park pass n go play indoor n outdoor. the indoor theme park & casino is jus located below the first world hotel.
i brought them to the snow world too.. jus to experience the cold. below 3 not allowed. but i told them jedd is just small .. so just pay for a ticket n go in. they hv a mini slide. winter jacket/gloves n boots provide. (may be a bit big for gillian. i hv my own winter wear for my boys)
i personally prefer first world hotel cos when kids are tired, jus go up to the room. if other hotels like genting or resort hotel, must walk quite far.. escalators to escalators.. if forget to bring anything, long walk back. choose a better room for first world.. i took the SUPERIOR DELUX ROOM..(2 nites for S$170 fri and sat) has full facilities (bath tub/kettle/sofa/toiletries).. enuff space for both my boys to run ard. the standard rooms are too basic for our kids..

u can bring them to the water theme park.. our kids most of the slides not suitable for our kids.. u can rent a huge rubber tube n float in it the whole day. dont go during the holidays.. very crowded n dirty.. josh had diarrohea for a month after the swim.. i neva went back there again. u can stay at sunway resort hotel. the studio apt not bad.. hv kitchenette. the price diff from normal room n studio very little so we took the studio. big n spacious n modern. a huge mall is attached to the resort hotel.. so u can shop.. food/clothes/etc
u can also consider staying at Times square.. large indoor theme park with imax theatre.. hotel n huge mall attached.. lot to shop esp with the malaysia sale going on now.
A must to go for us... CHINATOWN pertaling street!!! lanes of tiffany/branded bags/shoes etc.. hb must entertain kids.. while mummies go shopping.. i bought a pair of adidas shoes for josh.. RM$30.. lots of tiffany jewellery, coach key rings... polo ralph tee ... i hv no time to walk.. but do beware of pickpockets. the MRT there are very easy to use.. but not stroller friendly.. alot of steps.

Trips - Also planning to bring Emerson to somewhere... But timing doesnt seems to fit now, I cant take leave during the last quarter of the year. Earliest only beginning of next year.
Talking abt these, sometimes I dont wish to go lei, coz very tiring to lug a kid along uless it's really those kind of free n easy and minimal shopping.

Very spacious room. Too bad our room was facing the other direction, so we cant view the NDP from our room, instead have to go to the lobby. We ere quite lukcy too, coz half of the floor were occupied by the police on duty, so not much ppl crowding at the lobby. zav and E still can play dog chase at the lobby. Hahahaha.

times sq hv those kiddy land so we can go on kiddy rides with our kids.. sunway lagoon is very spacious.. mall is great.. but hard to shop with kid unless hb look after. josh had diarrohea from dec to jan.. when he was abt 2yrs old. before jedd was on this planet. i also stayed at palace of the golden horses too.. very remote.. u hv to take a boat to the shopping mall.. the boat ride was interesting.. the boat man let josh steer the boat haha..
i must ask mtdt for advise for her phuket trip.. havent been there with kids yet.

I've been there before, really not suitable for our kids, cos the rides are all adventurous rides. Even for Genting outdoor theme park, I also dun dare to let Kay go in. We only went to indoor theme park.
Port Dickson,
I've been there b4 too...stayed in kelong resort. Very nice...the rooms are sitting on top of sea water, if wanna swim, just swim out the win. There's also a mini pet farm & swimming pool. Very relaxing.

I dun use cane, not that I dun agree with cane but the kids will scare once I "roared". I just "roared" at Janelle for throw silence tantrum and cried for small matter. I asked her wat was the use of her mouth - to eat and talk. The use of the eyes is to see things and not to cry all the time.

btw, u was asking me abt cel kindy review rite? I think they are quite good..i was quite impressed by Cel last fri..she keep telling us that it was olympic game opeing at beijing, china..and there are many excellent ppl taking part in the sport at the "bird nest"..i asked her how did she koe..she said her teacher told them with newspaper cutting..I think the teachers are good to relate happening with current news..Cel also told us on sat that LSL is impt ppl to our country and his dad is even more impt, and all these were told by her teachers also..ha..i dun think i koe that when i was 5 year olds

I think phuket like not so many activities for kids, only beaches. Last yr i went me n hubby enjoyed the massage, food n shopping at d pasar malams. We rented a bike n explored around so it was quite an experience.

are u sending Gerrad to school in the morning or he will travel to and fro by school bus?
You may want to consider the travel time cos it can be very tiring for the little tod.
I live very near to my daughter kindy but she will be going back to my MIL place which is only 15 min driving timing becos she is taking school bus she end up to be the last to alight and she reached one 1hr later. She was very tired and hungry by then.

Haha..I've nvr been to Phuket so cannot comment. But the resort @ Port Dickson is really gd lor..nice rooms facing the sea. Last time we drove in from sg. So during meal time, we drove out to eat (which is much cheaper as compared to the resort).

I stayed in the water chalet last time. Very nice & relaxing. I went there years ago when I wasn't married yet. Haha, so I can't remembered how much I paid. -phiphi lsland trip 3000baht for 2adults+kid. (optional)
-rental of cab whole day 500baht (can go anywhere tat u wan)

2 hrs drive. u should stay at the pulai resort.. pulai resort was full cos its new.. So i stayed at golden sands.. for NTUC only $82 per nite. very near sea. room is ok.. like chalet standard. not very clean but if only 1 nite then its ok. spacious ground so gd for kids to run..

Ya on urgent leave today. Dunno leh, i already abstain her from playground n swimming..haiz...hope it will jus subside n go away. Hb said this morning when he sent gil to CC, a boy actually puke all over d front gate so everybody had to wait for d teacher to clean up then can go in.
