yes, i think our kids will definitely know if they r in a loved environment or not. If they can tell us they dun like sch despite we knowing that they r usually so excited abt sch, sthg must be very wrong.

we all know pretend play is good for their imagination, speech skills etc but i feel the teachers oso need to facilitate it, not just sit there & pass comments. Facilitation is a skill. Pretend play is actually not so simple. If leave them to their own devices to play, then no need to go sch, just go for playdates enuff liao haha

Yep, normal panadol (no actifast or of such) is fine. I am sufferring from headache daily since 4th month ... at times, when really painful, will take loh.

Just sent Kay to her playgroup. Aiyo, she started crying when we're about to leave the house. Keep saying don't want teacher... I have to keep telling her we're going back to her old sch, not the CC. Then while we're waiting outside the sch, Kay managed to recognise a few of her classmates, but she still cries when it's time to go in. No choice, I gotta go in for awhile until she calms down then I can leave..sigh...

Tat's y I was so mad when the principal told me new students no timetable, all F&E. I'm actually mad at myself for making such a decision & caused Kay to be afraid of going to sch...sigh. Not to mention the $$ being wasted.

not to worry, i'm sure K will settle in no time in her pg again. At least, not much harm done. Pity those kids who r still permanently there. & CD is not even cheap!
 
Think the CD branch tat YB went is pretty cheap. $400++ for fullday right?
The one at Punggol is $600+ for fullday

anyway sad tat CD cant maintain their standard... hope Kay get over it fast.

at least there are someone who is helping out at the initial stage. My friend staying in Taiwan also going solo with 2 kiddos after confinement. Not easy at all.

MT - At first he put up a struggle coz we want him to lie down.After that I let him play with the powder, draw things with powder on the table etc to distract him.

Cant learn lah, coz need to find the "xue dao" he also 'gua sha' his back.

Hmmmm - quite fast leh, abt 10-20mins.

But he pretty relaxed after the 'massage' he slept once we were in e car at 8.30pm. Or maybe coz he's tired.

The man hor.. v funny, never say anything wan.. only asked abt his condition abit only. then start the tui na liao, wonder if there's different tui na for different aliments? Or standard - xiao er bao jian tui na???

YuGuo charge $18 for just tuina. If the sinseh give u medication will charge more. The tuina last abt 10 - 20 mins. Usually one sinseh will see the patients and many tuina shifu outside waiting for her instructions on wat to tuina.

She has some very experience tuina shifu who specialise with small kids etc.

Weekends is very pack! I went last weekends and I reached there at 10am and walk out of the clinic at 12pm.

When I went to pick Kay up just now, teacher told me she was crying non-stop, even though they took turns to carry her. She said Kay must have been badly tramautised by her past exp. Kay only perk up when it's time to go home. Aiyoh...at least when we walked home, I asked her if she likes her new teacher & sch, she said yes. I hope she'll b better tomorrow cos there's a mini national celebration.
 
Btw, I spoke to the pg teacher abt wat CDHG's principal said abt young kids dunno anything. She said wat rubbish..cos she noted Kay can do colourings, sing & dance & some simple arts & crafts work.

I really pity the kids who're still at CDHG where the principal dun belives in wat kids (even younger wats) are capable of. REALLY glad that I took Kay out ASAP after only 4days of trial.

i oso disagree wif the P who says kids at their age dunno much. Wonder how she got her early childhood qualifications. Dun worry, kids r v resilient, besides, K has only been there few days. Just try to be patient & reassure & support her during this period.

Hong - seems that Yuguo is cheaper, but I guess taxi to and fro will cost me as much too. Never mind will stick to this at PG to see how.

How long do u think we need to go to see results? The physician didnt seem to v very concern leh... He seems to be quiet...he didnt comment even after he check E's pulse and tongue.

YB - Why dont u start a thread on this particular CC to warn future parents? Poor children who are stil in there..
 
Cheri - No harm to try out once just to see how N reacts if u wan to. At first I expect lots of struggle from E too... Luckily he got distracted by drawing on my face with the white powder.

the nearest is "1 lrt stop away"... at LRT meridian.

yeah i think Kay is badly traumatised by that CC! Arghhhh... that horrible P! Who says kids dunno anything! they are now more aware of everything that is happening around them... and they probably associate all schools to be like that... so it might take awhile for them to adjust back!

Yup, like mtdt say the nearest stop is the meridian lrt. And the waiting time is 1 hr??Tat's why i always took a cab to rivervale mall.

Heh, PP got its own bus that goes sengkang. Maybe you can check out that one. I know it pass by the church, rivervale plaza then compass point.
