I dont mind.. Last yr was fun, this yr shld be more fun coz our todds bigger liao.

Yup she agreed. E is not really better. Im trying tuina for him this evening. Will go long term on this tui na thingy to see the effects, meanwhile if the physician is suggesting any chinese medication will do it concurrently with his inhaler.

Hope to use both to help him. western to help his current condition, chinese to curb and build up immunity.

Chinese+Western+Nanny = A bomb to me.

Hope all these $ is well spent.

ya, i oso thot playgroup is a generic collective term for the 2-3 hours daily prog but in N's cc, they divide the pupils according to birth year. So 2006 kids belong to the playgroup (some ccs call it pre-N, like u mentioned). Confusing hor? Full day cc pupils oso called playgroup pupils! hahah

cos i gng to my mum place which is opp rivervale plaza so walk back...wow wif laptop and i bought some books for A and her schoolbag and carry her in one arm of ard 11kg really kill me lor...she refuse to walk and want to be carried...faintz...
wow u steady smmore can go do grocery shopping etc.

Haha..2 weekends ago, I walked from Mt Faber to Hort Park. Took 2hours also..somemore in slippers cos was a last min decision. I reckon we walked a total of 5km. In the end, we decided to take a cab back to Mt Faber to get our car.

Yeah..most likely no refund for the cc. I contacted another mummy in this forum who withdrew her kid after just 1wk trial. Apparently, the cc has been shortstaff since Jun but till now, they still haven't been able to find teachers to replace. Curriculum-wise, she said there's no lesson at all..everyday play gym or arts & crafts once every few days. Most of the time is do nothing, no wonder the kids r bored & kept crying. Alot more other reasons lah, tat's y I wanna pull Kay out ASAP.

This morn, Kay cried BIG time when it's time to go sch. Cried all the way from home till reach sch. Aiyo, I also dunno wat happened cos she was fine when I picked her up yesterday.

can u pack a stroller at A's cc. So u can make use of the stroller to ferry A to and fro. Not so xiong.

I walked from HortPark to Vivio, took us 2 hours... We was prepared to walk for long journey, I was wearing crocs shoes but still gave me blisters in the end... and hb was carrying char from the alex arch to telok blangah heights then I took over from there to mount fabar then to vivio... that's why i was super tired... if char is willing to walked herself then ok... she just walked few minutes then block my way, say "tired" or "累累" then expect me to carry her... when we reached vivio, it was super shiok cos of the air-con and I was super hungry also, faster go find food...

Gil in full day CC also call playgroup, next yr N1.
Suppose to prepare food for their National Day celebration tomorrow, then attire to sch is red n white. But d principal very nice, understand i have no time to prepare so ask me to bring watever finger food in d morning for auntie to cook.

Her CC doesnt allow us to leave stroller there cos no where to keep, it's under HDB block not landed property. So if i have to fetch her to n fro always sure perspire n breathless.

Hong - Cant be too happy, coz she's still holding on the PT job, Thurs and Mon, her mon will come all the way frm Bedok to help her take care of E for 2 hrs. Dunno halfway will her mom back up or what. But I guess beggars cant be chosers.

TuiNa - E's principal recom me this shop at Punggol. Going to try it out. YuGUo is just too far for me to go long term.

very funny that Carpe Diem has no curriculum & just play, maybe that's the problem wif franchises. I visited a CD near my place too. The environment is nice & new cos newly set up but i find the kids seem bored & lifeless. The activities dun seem that interesting. Eg. the teacher will take out a box of kitchen toys (plates, spoons, food items etc), lay them on the floor & the kids just play. More like free play to me but that took place during lesson time. So i was honestly a bit put off.

Emma will arrive tom unless she decide to pop tonight....=P Going to induce tom morning. Gyn say already 2 to 3cm dilated. Decided to induce so I can plan and make sure Keagan is taken care of then can go deliver in peace.

Lantern fest. gathering...I want! hehehe...

hahahhaa....can lah can lah....22 yrs ago...my sil(oso abt ur size) gave birth to a 4.2kg boy...wahahhaa....nobody in the familybroke that record..andno one even tot that after 22 yrs...another sumo came to this world..wahahaha...

YB..kay CC sound like the one V attended leh. Their main focus is just to takecare of the kids while mum is busying working. but our intention was for them to learn mah. Better draw her out lah if she dont want to go. On the 8 days V , honeymoon period over, they no longer takecare & carry her in CC. After class v tell us she not going anymore...then we decided is time to stop her.

I think Panadol is fine. Last time when I was preg, I got doc to prescribe all the meds(fever, cough, cold, flu etc)suitable for preggies so I can take it as & when I need it.

Sigh..I talked to the principal today abt the shortstaff. She said she'll step down to act as Eng teacher while they're busy recruiting new ones. In the meantime, the owner of the CC will act as the principal. I also asked her abt wat Kay had been doing for the past few days. She said it's F&E cos new kids tend to be clingy & always crying while the other kids continue wif their lessons. I told her Kay has been attending playgroup for the past 6mths & she had already learnt numbers, alphabets, arts & crafts etc. But she said Kay is still very young, let them enjoy their childhood. I was mad lor..cos if I wanna let Kay F&E, then I might as well let her continue to stay at home. No wonder Kay has been crying on & off in sch, cos she's bored & nothing interest her.

I'll send her back to her playgroup tomorrow morn, at least she's happy there wif her teachers & friends. Somemore, her teacher was sad when I withdrew her last time. So I guess they'll welcome Kay back wif open arms.

Yes, CD has pretend play during lesson time. Kay was also bored wif the toys after awhile cos there's no teacher to guide them..they just F&E.

sigh..the more I talk to the principal the more upset I am...She even say some ppl keep going around spreading rumours abt the cc etc etc.

In fact for the past couple of days, the cc didn't chk temp at all, nor did they enforce on using hand sanitiser in the morn. I was shocked! Cos Kay's previous playgroup is very strict & stringent. They conduct all their checks outside the classroom to minimise spreading of germs. Parents can't even enter the premises.

Clingy so F&E doesnt sounds logical loh, there must be at least something to keep the kids occupy and interested so they wont keep thinking of mummy right? If they do nothing, of coz they will keep thinking of gg home lah. *pricipal abit no brain*

How was the principal when u went down to 'look see look see' before u decide to enrol? Was the place equally disorganise?

When I went to recee the plc, the principal was alright & the plc was quiet & clean. Cos it's late afternoon. Now I know why...cos most of their students are on half day, so afternoon not much students around. Then again, I find that tis principal will paint a pretty picture & it's only when u found out more & qs her, then she'll admit.
 
Today, Kay started to say she dun wanna go sch, dun wan teacher etc etc when I prompted her. Very diff from a few days again. Tat's wat prompted me to stop her from going CC immediately.

I hope Kay is alright when she goes back to playgroup tomorrow. Afterall, she has stop for about 2mths.

Don't worry, Kay is a very smart girl... I'm sure she can adapt very well since its all so familiar to her! If she says she doesnt want to go to that school must mean its not very good!

It's ok to take panadol. As long as you take every 6 hours. I had migraine for a whole week in first tri....wouldn't have survived without it.
