Mummmies, I have shortlisted our christmas bash venue to Globetrotters at United Square. They have a private function room and seems like they are the only one who are able to host us (estimated 30 babies and 60 adults). I have requested for quotation and information on the party program. Stay tuned...

Yep, using colored tissue paper to do arts and crafts. The pack came with colored tissue paper trimmed in the shape of square as well as shaped figures, like flower, fish and etc. The figures are pre-stickered with double sided stickers. What I do now is that I encourage Kelly to crash the tissue paper, and I will guide her by holding on to her hands and getting her to stick the colored tissue papers on the figures.

BTW, shall we start a distribution list for June 06 mummies who want to be kept updated on the latest playdates/groups, trial classes, shopping as well as all royal events? Realized that we do not have one and we have to depend on PM or SMS for such announcements.

need advise from well travelled mummies here. F and I might be going w/ hubby to US for 2 weeks. he's going for training there, so most of the times we would be alone w/o him there. this would be F's first long flight and we are not sure if she can handle such a long flight. Even in a short domestic flight in Indo in June last time, she ended up crying and fussing during the whole 45-mins flight

Which part of States would you be visiting? Could you check if there are any walmart/walgreens or supermarkets nearby your hotel? Most of the times, hotels are quite a distance away from these places and hence, hunting for fresh groceries or baby canned food is quite a problem.

Anybody koes where can get those small sofa for kids our age? thot of getting 1 for celest so that can train her to sit in it whenever we watch tv etc..

Kell down with bacterial gastro ... should I continue to feed her solids? Or just plain porridge? I tried feeding her with cereal but she poo-ed everything out.

doc said it is bacterial gastro. So monitoring her fluid intake ... worried about dehydration. She is refusing food and milk and water and is very listless. Kiss kiss from Josh would help. haha.

Paula - doc din say anything except to keep her hydrate?
 
Paula, can give porridge with fish, no veg though, difficult to digest, if really must give milk, reduce the portion of milk powder so as to dilute the milk, some babies dun wan soy milk. Hope kelly get well soon!

i_panda, the weather does look very hot! Should let Josh wear a cap.

Sunflower, for my blog, I use the custom template provided. I find that its much easier to use.
