poohy, sounds logical. if J is not attending weekly JG, i won't be taking the jab before 2 years old. anyway, he will be attending MMI at 18 months, so think i cannot escape.

re milk powder, J is now on Nan2HA. i am thinking of switching to either Nan3 or Enfagrow. any comments on the above?

poohy, your kids on Enfagrow or Enfalac? have you compared these with other milk powder?

me too keen for this..

celeste,

she refused to refund you the money? hmm wonder if MOM has a channel to deal with this type of agency! terrible..
think the agent trying to recover her costs, so let her stay on as transfer maid.

toto,

I never compare milk powder. Both my kids are on Enfapro A+. Stage 2 only. Yes, even S. I cant seem to switch him to Enfagrow... he gets constipation. I am thinking of switching him to pediasure becos the similac abott range supposed to be better for digestive system rite?

I am thinking of putting J either in MMI or LW preschool. Will decide on it this month when I bring S there for his class... my first choice is LW preschool. Heard from others they even give the kids tennis lesson... sounds fun.

re: sso tickets

those of you who wanna book tix for sso prom ... maybe should go read the thread in the WTE threads... someone commented that they already opened up to public booking liao leh.... And I did buy 3 tix through internet booking just.... I dunno whether I still need to buy the sso card for the tix to be valid .... hmmm confusing.

poohy - i just read... maybe will go sistic box office to buy.

if they sells to me... i dun forsee they will be so free to check sso frens card at the entrance of the concert. hahaha :p

panda: I have not actively let him draw on the mat cos he still likes to put the crayon into his mouth 8( He's more interested in the rubberband around the handle, keeping the 2 pieces of scribblemat together :p

i_panda, sunflower & soh, saw you have place orders for the wipe clean scribble mats from BP. 2 weeks ago, I chanced upon a hard cover book at popular which has waxed pages, they also provide crayons for colouring on the pages. Theme is farm animals. I only paid $3 plus for that book after discount.

spicegal: Popular has that? It allows wipe-off colouring on every page in the book? Actually $15 for the scribblemats is not that cheap loh, just that there don't seem to be such similar items around.

celeste,
sorry abt your maid problem. But for your old maid, the agency cannot cancel its permit as long as you do not sign the papers. The permit is issued under your name so you are the only person that can authorise the cancellation.
For the new maid, if you have not done any work permit documnents, then its not your responsibiltiy.
The only concern for you now is the $2k. If they refused to refund you, then you will have to go to Small Claims Tribunal or CASE.
Hope i din sound kpo. Just sharing my experiences.

poohy - my ger oso hates taking medicine, syringe is useless on her as she wun even open her mouth to let u put the syringe in. sometimes, will even puke out the medicine if we do manage to get it in...my pd after knowing our difficulties in giving her med, gave us the same med but in pills form instead...crush 1/4 pill into powder, mix wif a bit of milk or biscuit crumbs+water to feed her. now feeding her med is a breeze. they hv tablet form for panadol, running nose, cough, phlegm...hope this helps to ease the struggle
