Bo eng today ah.... Now come in to take a breather. Welcome CutieZayn. This is one happening thread to be with.

Talk on medicine...hm...drag feeding Gabby medication. At one point, she will shun my dad if he fed her. but my dad told her that doctor gave her the medicine and not him. So the blame goes to the doctor. Lately, this would be the kind of conversation we have when she try to put things in her mouth or before we feed her medicine:

Mom: G, dont put dirty things in the mouth. What happen if you do that?
G: Pain, pain.
M: Yeap, you will get sick and then we have to bring you to see doctor. And what does doctor do?
G: cek,cek
M: After doctor check, doctor will say - you put dirty things in the mouth so you get sick. And doctor will give medicine. And how does medicine taste like?
G: biter, ku ku aaah...

Wonder if she will hate doctors.....hmm.... any better suggestion to reason with her?

no leh.didn get my new computer.coz hb say his office giving them new laptop for work.so can bring home.but gota wait till next apr their new financial year then can get. Only bought a canon digi cam, printer, hp that day at comex..

ya loh.celest down with fever again.quite sudden & come fast.haven even start feeding her the vit c. mayb wait till she recover then start.tink its teething.got 2 new tooth out on upper.but strangely,the tooth is not in sequence. got 4 together,then space 1 tooth, then grow the next. I jus feed her alot of water.she dun like sponge.

Did not go JG today cos I left A at home, and rushed back to bring him for a swim after doc visit.


HOw come supplements gotta force feed also? Very poor thing leh... Lucky I no need to force feed A the indinine and vitality plus I am giving him. In fact, he loves it so much that I have to hide them. So far most kids love them too. ***touch wood*** so far he haven't seen a doctor, except the compulsory injections and check-ups. His immunity is very good, cos even if someone fall sick in the family, he will still be fine.

Gabby is very smart! hmm... I am thinking of using your method to stop A from putting inedible things in his mouth. That's a very good idea. YOu are very innovative. But he haven't seen doc nor taken medicine before... Yesterday he was digging the mat at the playground and put the bits and pieces into his mouth! ***faintz***

re KM - if some mummies would like to just join the weekend class, you can actually join the normal classes. this is also one option.

just spoke with the lady. at present, they do not have hol programme. their hol programme structure runs like this:

(1) 5 weekends, once per week
(2) 3 weeks, twice per week (e.g., tues and sat)

i prefer option 2 - and the theme will be like their adventure theme - BTW - i am referring to 18 months and above hol programme.

if we can form 6 babies, they can run a class for us. cost is $25.50 per lesson, with $30 reg fee. Note that the structure is like their normal KM, but with the selected theme. Any preferences?

The EPA and DHA, according to my gynae is not sold in normal pharmacies. The brand is EPAX Forte softgel. hmm... I think I wun recommend this also... cos my brief search about it was not good. Might need to go into more details.

another reason I stop flaxseed cos it requires conversion in the body, so if the body deficient in can't recall what enzyme/component, the conversion may not take place .... hmmm
 
Keke...paiseh..G is May bb. So guess quite normal that she can talk earlier than babies here. Think by nature she is quite a curious baby so very eager to learn. Lyn, she does seem to put less things in her mouth now that she understand 'dirty'. But I worry that she will really detest doctor leh...

JG just informed me that they are having hol programme (last about 2 weeks on daily 1.5hrs basis) from Nov 19 - $240 per week.

Morning all..

Seems like u all having a good time going classes n doing shopping hor... and poor me suffering here... This gonna be a long long msg...

Aiya... I real headache with my new maid... with me only since sunday nite.. but think i need to get agent to collect her back tonite..

At first we talk to her.. she dun understand at all... and she talk to me i dun understand too... she is a filipino.. english cant be that bad right? aiya... So me n hubby tot.. ok we can close one eye if she can take care of chelsia well n do hse work well..

Who knows, we found out that she got hearing problems.. quite a bad one.. remember on tuesday, i called home 8 to 10 times.. no one picked up.. was soo panick.. even activated angeline to walk over to my hse to take a look.. argghh.. but before she can go over, i kept calling and my old maid ans.. scolded her n asked why no one pick up the phone.. she says she is bathing n the new maid in living with chelsia... but SHE CANT HEAR THE PHONE RING!! OMG!!

Worst thing coming.. yesterday morning i went to work.. chelsia still sleeping.. hubby sleeping too.. chelsia woke up 8plus... and hubby say at first she playing and talking to herself.. then she start to talk loudly... the she shouted once.. but no one answer to her help.. she yell... till hubby woke up... the "old maid" heard it and asked the new one.. you heard chelsia crying? she says NO!!! OMG!! they are suppose to go into the room n pick chelsia out..

Then in the afternoon.. an airplane fly over.. with a loud noise.. chelsia is always afraid of the noice... so chelsia uses her hands to tap her own chest .. cos she will do that whenever she is scared... "old maid" told new maid u have to hug her if she scared... the NEW ONE asked.. why she scared!! Old one asked her "didnt u hear an airpplane just fly over".. she says NO!!! argghhhhhhh... how? how? how?
 
Need some advise..

I've paid agent upfront $2000.00 for this new maid.. suppose to deduct her pay for 6 mths right... Then now if i get agent to bring her back... what's my cost? is agent suppose to refund me the $2000.00 ? what is she suppose to deduct?

Am going for MAID shopping later... think i have no choice but to take those maid in sg.. (Trf maid)..

Anyone know of someone wanna trf out their maid? An desperate liao... cos my old maid goin back on18sept... 12days later...

oh dear... hearing problem! they should replace a maid for you, ask the agent about the $2000. think can deduct from replacement maid's salary.
Your next one better do a hearing test.

Celeste, oh no your new maid sounds really bad! Better change her asap. Sorry I cannot advice on the agent cost part, never engage maid before.

Steffi, I heard will cause fever, so have to give 'pao shen' before you send toddler for the MMR jab, then after that give fever medicine.

wow! yr maid is deaf i think. u mean they dont check during the medical check up?
better to change a new one else u wont know what is going to happen.
I'm much happier with my current maid. V glad i took the step to change even though i met with a lot of problems during the change over.

Dont think the agent will refund back your upfront fee, unless there is difference bet the loan of the new maid and the old one. Think it will be used to offset the loan for your new maid. Better check with agency... different ones got diff policy.

Soak in hot water and ask her drink?
 
Celeste, today you bring her? Too late to take pao shen, must give a few days in advance then got effect. Then you make sure you give fever medicine after the jab.

Oh dear, Celesste. Hope you are able to find good new maid soon and send the old ones off without any problem.

I always just give G a dose of the fever medicine before bed on the day of injection. She would be fine the next day. And I normally try to bring her in the afternoon or evening...so that if she feels uncomfortable, she can sleep..:p

transfer maid - better check properly why got transfer also.

2 jabs at one go huh? aiyoh... painful. :p
I never dare to schedule 2 jabs for zav. :p
