your hb is so nice! Willing to ferry little kelly to and fro... if the location too off, my hb wont be willing to do it liao. LW is our first choice becos S is there and more or less settled down. We hope next year J can go to nursery 1 while S nursery 2 in the same school to minimise our ferrying.

However, I keep worrying abt their not so strong emphasis on academic.. my plan may be to move them to other kindergarten like st James (if can get a place) when they get to K1.

Agree kumon books are good. Any of you all trying kumon centre? I am thinking of trying out kumon with S.

Halifax too far for us leh... ya it will be so nice if our kids can all be in the same class... then we can watch out for each other ..

Haha, we had a good long talk yesterday. He was saying that if Kell really had a distinct inclination towards music, numbers and arts, then it will be good to send her to a better school with more caring teachers so that they could help to nurture her. If she really does have the passion but is being sent to the more common schools, and if the teachers there does not have the heart to look after or nurture her, it is a matter of time that her passion will be killed. That’s what set me off against CH; after witnessing a young tot putting uncooked Marconi in his mouth and CD; cheena management. So, environment is really important at the time being. However, he wanted me to ensure that the school environment that she is in, it is important that the school must have a substantial number of Chinese teachers and children to ensure that she won’t be exposed to too westernized culture. The thing about LW and Pat’s Schoolhouse is that their educators do posses the early childhood education certification; which is extremely important to me.
