saw at Art Friend, they sell those art-tube together with either brush or sponge. brand is Elmer. think the sponge type may work similar as the dot art type. both non-toxi but only sponge is washable.
bought a washable inkpad from artfriend, came back did some stamping with boy, aaarrrggghhh his hand kenna the stamp pad ink cannot wash off though it came off easily from the foam stamp and table!!! want to complain, where's the washability???
boy kept showing me his fingers/hand, want me to wash it off but tried liao cannot

bought the paint pots liao. btw what's acrylic paint? ok for our junior? shopping today, last stop was at forum maybe too tiring mind not working. last time I kept seeing this brand but cos stated acrylic (dunno know wat's it) so never buy. the shop ask me get this instead of crayola.. so got it lor. now come back mind start working again, abit worried

actually she was quite prompt in her replies, though I think she will only check her mails once a day at the end of the day. but since last friday, no news from her too. I ever left voice mails and the reply was 2 days after. haha maybe MTDT promoted the class so well that she's overwhelmed by the responses, buried under the mountain of calls & emails to reply

There are other versions of kitchen sets with sound. Celeste one is with sound.. Now there is one set electronic one selling at toys r us.. $79.90 lor. Perhaps u can check it out. Also the same brand "Just like home"

check with you, that day was looking at your other thread for A re the paint pots. one mummy mentioned about 1 brand of vit C that she's using, effect very good. Do you know which brand it is?

aiyoh, if that non-washable washable ink is difficult, then u'd find acrylic paint is hell to wash out of all surfaces. X is so cute, haha, keep showing u his stained palm ah? Irv does that too, hehehe. Once acrylic paint dries, u gotta scrape off ur raincoat type bib materials, I even protect the art table with newspaper cos it's so troublesome.
But it's the only paint u can use for painting plaster pieces (normal paint will grow mould). Wait another yr, perhaps?

When I asked them to call me, they didn't... when I called them 1 mth prior, they told me the date's taken and *they cannot help, sorry*. Too bad, I'm not dying to throw money at them either. Did I mention the recent trial, they used FOOD COLOURING for their "paint"? Warned us may not wash out, may stain... both Dal and I were wondering why they used it then? No washable paints around ah? Dal ended up with henna-colouring effect on her palms, hehehe. Lucky MTDT warned, so kids not dressed in their best, never mind abt the clothes (did wash out... after a day of soaking! Lucky I got helper , or else I'd be *chanting* while washing... ).

Comparing with JG, I dun think this is as good:
1. the teacher wasn't as engaging (maybe because jezoir's JG teacher is really great. keke)
2. the teacher was rather impatient (like wat pawprint mentioned). she sounded unhappy and can tell from her facial expression too.
3. she was also rather rude. 1st case: during the crayon colouring session, she only let jezoir take 1 crayon and quickly removed the whole plate of crayons for the regular kids sitting on the other side to her. there were so many crayons available! 2nd case: during music time, she actually pushed the shakers across the floor to us. In JG, the teacher / assistants will personally hand the items to us.
3. no gross motor play. MTDT, they actually closed the gate blocking access to the staircase! no swings, rockers or anything. after snack time is music time. and it was very rushed.
of coz i did see a few interesting things about them, like teaching the kids to return the plate once they are done with their snack, and saying please and thank you, but these are manners taught at home too so it is not key to me whether they do or not teach.

yeah agree that the busybuddies trial is not so good.. the teacher is so fierce...i could c that ethan din really like the place vs jwt.. he was walking round the room n din really want to attend the lesson (perhaps cos the setting of the plc is too attractive for him).. but the teacher is so fierce keep catching ethan n insist that he listens to the lesson while mummy here allows him to roam abt in the room..
yes can also clearly c that they treat the regular students better than the trialist.. well perhaps it's norm human reaction.
Hmm.. their watercolour is quite easy to wash leh.. on that very day i manage to wash ethan's n my hands leh, though they said very hard to wash..
Btw, for those mummies who sign up for Jan JG class, i called them yest.. gosh i am quite far away in the long long waiting list so most likely can't get in.. anyway JG said that they can only cfm in mid dec only..
So now i still got to look for other enrichment classes for ethan.. Has any1 tried zoophonics? Any reviews? Or any1 keen to sign up JWT after all these trials? I think I m more keen on JWT..

Originally, i signed Gabby up on Kidsloft Jungle Beat programme which starts at 9.30am in the morning. After that I thought about it and think I must be crazy! So I cancelled it. It is just too far off for me and too early. We are left with just one week programme that starts at 4pm. That should not be too bad apart from I wonder if it is gonna be difficult to get a cab at 5.30pm to come home... Think my taxi fare to and fro can be easily around if not over $30...that is roughly the cost of one class! But bobian....seems like all interesting classes are in far, far away land.

how can just "drop a word" abt sales and then no details follow up!!! hahahaha
mspiggy - think no differences of whichever jab first. For Zav, I jab him MMR first as the 2 weeks after tat, i dun hv any programs for him. but after tat, i hv hol prog with KM, JG and then HK trip. Thus I choose to do MMR first as need to monitor him for 10days, whereas Chix Pox side effect is shorter...
