i) Food:

One time charge of S$250.00 (reduced quote based on reduced nos. of children; quote valid to a maximum group size of not more than 20 children)
Games duration will last about 90 minutes

I will proceed to collect S$60.00 per family. If you are bringing your elder child(ren) aged between 3 to 12 years old, please top up an additional S$16.00; GST inclusive.

We will be absorbing the charges by the organizer. Treat it as our Christmas presents to all kids who will be attending the Christmas Bash.

Our budget for Christmas Bash is extremely tight this year as I have promised some mummies to keep the budget to not more than S$60.00 per family. Hence, there will no leftover monies to purchase gifts for all the participating children as well as additional item such as Christmas Log Cake.

Lets also celebrate the spirit of giving this Christmas. Shall we roll out gift exchange for the little ones at the Christmas Party too? The value of the gift should have a minimum value of S$15.00. Its the thoughts that count.

Let me know if you have any thoughts to the above. If there are no major objections to the above, I shall proceed to finalize my confirmation.

ya, my neighbour did that, covering up the windows and doors with plastic sheets. But my mum dun wan it cos she say will suffocate..(mum house no aircon, wanted her to sell and move out before upgrading starts but she cant bear to sell it). So now every other day, i gotta go home mop..then weekend still have to mop my own house!
Heng its just lift upgrading. If they do extra things like additional room etc, i think the amt of dust and trouble will be 10x more!

dun think they will heck every block at one go then install the shaft. They do by batches. I can see from my mum estate that 2 blocks heck finished liao then the heck the next two blks.

Was on half day leave this morning, Jerica came down with high fever yesterday afternoon. Temperature hovering btw 38 & 39 degrees. Dr say its due to throat infection. I was sponging her throughout the night so hardly sleep at all...this morning too tired to come for work.

Aiyoh xmas exchange... *shudder*... I think of toys piling up, scared liao.

Any chance of reducing value to token $10? Like a tub of playdoh or paint bottle or something that can be finished/ needs replenishing, instead of another toy, hahaha. Ok, I know not all mums will like that

re: athena being 3... alot of my frens here in tw always 'pretend' that their daughters are 2.5 yrs even though they look more like 4 and are able to 'get away' without paying!! u might wanna try that? ;-)

am like u too... scared of toys piling up now!! but am still buying... SIGH!! what bout books? actually xmas is all bout giving, how bout many small presents instead of 1 'big' one!?

The non-spill paint pots with paintbrush-grooves on the water-tight lid, and a stopper... avail. at Artfriend Taka and Bras Basah... is $0.75!!!

I bought 12 pots for friends... after membership discount, $8.

They sell another version at $3 each, I like the $0.75 better.

You put up ur easel yet? (btw I put crayons/ pencils/ chalk for the containers that came with the easel, then bought additional paintpots specifically for paint)

Busybuddies trial...
better than JWT for Irv, he participated for the *first time*- helped roll the rug etc. However, marred by one of the teachers (assistant teacher???), whom I felt didn't have enough experience with kids. If I as a paying parent don't have a problem with Irv *not crayoning*, why shld she express impatience and insist I try harder to get him to stay put at the table? Irv was distracted by the other table, he wanted to go over, he didn't want to crayon at all lah... he's more a squish-fluids-on-hands type, than hold-crayon-draw-on-paper type. Besides, it's his TRIAL, just let him slowly warm up mah, no need to be so regimented-everything-must-follow.

I was at tanglin mall today... saw tat big bottles of (14oz) Crayola washable paints at $5.30 for each colour/bottle. for those who do painting regularly, shd be a good buy.

I saw a set of brushes (big and fat kind) at 3 for $10. seems good too.

sunflower - tanglin mall ALOT (at least 4shops) shops selling those big bottles of paints. Was surprise to see them too.

Pots- I saw at Bras Basah shop. there are 2 kinds there actually. one is 0.75 and one is 2+ (with a lid to close it abit more tightly)

I met Dal at Bras Basha tat day... and she was thinking of getting those big bottles of paint. however dun hv the "non-toxin" word there... so maybe not recommended to get. But crayola wld be safe.

sunflower, I saw a school call i3 Education Lab at Paya Lebar Sing Post Centre. They have enrichment program like Musikgarten's Early Childhood Music Education (Birth to 8yrs old). Maybe you can try if is near your place.

yah I saw those paint bottles at BB without "non-toxic", din dare to buy too! Ooo- thx for the tip abt Tanglin Mall, haiz dunno when can pop down to buy the brushes and paint.

Yup BB sells $0.75 and $3 paint pots. The $3 have another lid on top of the usual, to close *completely*.

The hole opening for the $0.75/ $3 etc looks about the same size to me, I dun hav the fat brushes so can't *guarantee*. It works fine for me so far. For kids that have graduated to using paints from a palette, these non-spill pots are great for "washing the brushes" when changing colours.

i saw the crayola big bottle paints too recently at Art Frenzy shop in Vivo...beside Daiso...bigger bottle than ELC but more ex by abt $2 i think...not too sure abt the price. ELC stuff r all non-toxic though they dun state non-toxic in their labels.

Wow urs is a good deal!

Yesterway went suntec toys r us bought one kitchen set.. eventually didn't get the one advertised in their booklet. That one around 38 pieces. We bought the one 68 pieces at $113. The brand is "Just Like Home".. i got the same brand for YJ's shopping cart too.

She was enjoying herself last nite.. and i had to enjoy picking up the pieces from the floor too haha.. she even tempted to put her leg up the kitchen set table top.. alamak! Really tomboy! End up it become a mobile kitchen for her also, she keep pushing it around *grinzz*

Sigh got to go AJC for science projects liao... talk to u mummies tonite
