Hi Mummies,

Phew! Glad to hear from mil that YJ taking her medicine. Dunno what power my mil has over her haha! She is always up to some tricks at home. Today and tomorrow bobian got to send her over to mil home to let her take care. Else she cling on to me like koala bear. I can't eat or sleep properly. She just dun wanna let her daddy carry. This morning when we sent her over, she still cling to me and cry when she see my mil. But on the other hand, i was really happy HAHA! I guess u all understand why..

Now my arms super painful, after carrying her since yesterday for almost the whole day. And whole of last nite didn't sleep well too, cos got to monitor her temperature as she felt warm and down with slight fever.

sunflower,

what lantern u bought for Xander?

Me finding those small small ones.

I bought a doraemon ball like lantern for Davian. He chose it himself.

He uses it like a ball, stool, sometimes lantern.

vivi,

no lantern specifically for X.
I got those big and small ,light candles type
that I hang around. so he see only, never carry around. Try looking for 1 for him but don't like those that I saw le, the music so terrible & loud

Sunflower,
oic.

BIngo! The music for the Doraemon;s lantern that D has is super loud, Noisy, irritating and the music is SO UNKNOWN! Not those nursery rhymes. Me going to tape it up so that its less noise polluting.

vivi & sunflower,

I think those lanterns have no quality control. The one my hubby's sis bought for YJ was soft and nice.. the one i bought for her was extremely loud! Same design.. hello kitty.

So i just on the light for her, without the music on. Worried it might affect her hearing :p

Anyway she dunno how to carry the lantern. She will just throw it around and say "ball".. alamak!

vivi & sunflower,
i bought those batteries operated lantern Wes too. agree that the music is too loud! i used a small pcs of cloth to muffer the music. hehee

CG - I will be going tonite or tomolo nite. :p

lantern - SAME!! I got a pooh batt lantern for him. so deafening... i tape it as well. hahaha

I also hv those candle kind... i will let him hold while i carry him. he seems to know that candle are "fragile" then dun really dare to move also. hahah :p

vivi&sunflower,

I brought 2, 1 for Zayn and 1 for Zach. The one Zayn hv can select with or without music.
The music really loud but Zach will dance when the music on even is so lousy music.

panda, saw your blog that you just bought millet for Josh. how do you cook it? like normal porridge? add vege and fish and meat?

anyone knows how prepare millet?

vivi, kk, mspiggy,

ya lor the music all so loud. I deaf liao.
so didn't buy.. also like wat vivi say not nursery rhymes or children's songs. the
songs aiyoh **faint**

MTDT,

WOW! How did u manage to get a pooh lantern??? I didn't have time to shop around, so just settle with some bookshop at rivervale mall.

mspiggy,

What's millet? :p

sunflower,

And worse still, when i let YJ handle the lantern, she will pull the whole thing out. So kitty is kitty, the rest is separated with the light dangling :p

Vivi & sunflower, I am going to chinese garden tmr night too! Hope to see you there!

I bought a battery operated star shaped lantern for Jerica with a Hello Kitty face, find the music very loud so tape the holes with scotch tape to soften the music. Luckily the switch can switch to music + light or light only, so like kk will just switch on the light without music.

Jerica will drag the lantern on the floor like pulling a pet dog or cat. Faint!!

KK,
The millets are a group of small-seeded species of cereal crops or grains, widely grown around the world for food and fodder. They do not form a taxonomic group, but rather a functional or agronomic one. Their essential similarities are that they are small-seeded grasses grown in difficult production environments. It was millets, rather than rice, that formed important parts of prehistoric diet in Chinese Neolithic and Korean Mumun societies.

Re: Battery operated lantern
Totally agree the music is loud. I used tape to stick over the 'hole' to mute the sound.

My mum bot him the candle kind. He kept wanting to peep into the hole on top to see the burning candle. He don't seem to sense the heat/danger. However, when the lantern went up in flames (when we left it at a corner), he jumped and clinged on to me. For the next hour, he repeatdly put his hand to his chest (meaning he is scared), then point at the remains of the burnt lantern mumbling duno what. Hehe....

vivi,
Wes is seeing Dr Koh from Singapore Baby & Child Clinic. He's usually at the AMK branch.

spicegal,

hmm how cum u all can choose one ah.

Think i better go n check with the shop today. Then tell her i wanna change to optional type.

RE : batteried operated lantern

kk - go my blog to see the lantern.

somemore it's not v long... so zav can carry it without draggin. :p he even carry it and turn round and round.

music - my fren's son superman lantern is titanic song!!!! faintz!! so mismatch! hahah

vivi, the lantern i bought has 2 switch option on the handle, so can choose whether light only or light+music. Maybe you check your lantern again?

mspiggy,

I just add millet together with brown rice and cook per normal.

kk,

haha YJ thinks the 2 light and hello kitty doesn't match!

spicegal

da chang jin... really faintzz...
you going CG tomorrow too!

mtdt - you going CG too?
wow like many pp going to CG..

vivi, MTDT, kk,
So i'm not the only 1 who taped the speaker of the lantern kekeke! the music volume is unbearable! My MIL bought the ultra man for my boy.

tomolo hv fireworks at 10pm too... but dunno if can tong until 10pm or not. :p

but hubby scare jam... so might end up tonite go also. :p

kk,
Really? The ultraman that my MIL bought for my son is too big for him. So when he carry it, it's dragging on the floor! So instead of ultraman flying up in sky, is sweeping the floor kekeke. He showed no interests too, carried awhile, he throw aside liao.

Don't think i want to go CG though is near my hse....i hate CG, crowded, hot and boring! hahaha. Think will just bring my son downstairs.

So nice .... all of u planning go Chinese Gardens. I so worried that Kelly might end up zzz cos she slept at 8pm. But if go early, lantern no light up how? hahaha.

Sigh, so difficult to bring them out for such festive season ya? Now go out got to depend on their sleeping pattern etc etc.. and moreover YJ can't walk on her own yet, so lattern carrying should be more fun next year.

paula,
i havent... only mee sua so far. no fishballs yet unless it's homemade then i will consider. else i find them too saltish for our tods now.
