Brayden is fine. He's running...but can't talk much. He really hates to go for haircut! Last sat, I brought him to salon again and he almost tear down the shop and end up with an ugly hairstyle!

I think he's blacklisted from that salon already!

I havent tried bringing Fiona to a hair salon for haircut.
Fiona is also walking already... she's starting to display some terible 2 syndromes... she screams at the top of her voice if she doesnt get something and will command u to do this and that. lately, she's been v interested in adult food... wants to eat our food when we r having our meals.
No, dr adrain does not have a clinic at TMC. Have to make special arrangement to use one of the clinics there.

Actually Bray's hair is not that long but given that he perspires so much, i cann't stand seeing his wet hair and scratching!!! Aiyo, talk about screaming, Bray's voice really loud and likes to scream alot! His voice is very powerful....don't what he eat??? He's a greedy boy too, he simply eat everything and whenever we eat, he scream loudly and wanted a share too. We often feel very paiseh esp outside cos he will scream at the table for food and everyone will watch us....

i brought my gal to the salon for her 1-yr old haircut the other time, she was ok with it, didnt cry, just moving here and there....the hairdresser actually 'bundled' me up together with her.....not sure how she will react now though..she's long overdue for another cut...

mine shakes her head none stop when she finds out that i'm going to cut her hair... so my girl's hairstyle is out of shape ... bad mummy stylist here.

the other time HX also screamed for food when we were having dinner at the foodcourt..in the end, a lady sitted next to us asked if she is very hungry....

Any good tips to calm our boys down during the haircut? I gave him his fav biscuit, sweets, toys etc., all don't want! He cried and scream and struggle and turn his head all around, even used his hands to push us away! So u can imagine how strong my boy is!!! Even the hairstylist also scared and commented my boy so strong! Me really headache!

my nanny actually manages to cut her fringe...she says must be fast, swift and cut with a single stroke....so far so good, no missed cuts....as for the back, she is not able to trim for me lor

those kids salon have hi-5 or barney for the kids to watch while cutting hair... maybe can bring Brayden to those kids salon.

We tried lots of ways. With him alone sitting and we carried him seated or standing etc. all he don't want. In fact, when we put him or carry him and sit down at the salon, he start to yell already and he allow no one to touch his hair leh....there's once, i cut for him when he sleeps but only can cut the fringe and sides, cannot cut the back! i dun dare too...cos i'm no hairstylist hahaha

I tried once at JL salon too! thought his fav barney programe can keep him distracted from the hair cut but NO NO NO! He still cried! Imagine spend so much and end up cut 1/2 way and go, how can??? Any one out there has got tips???

maybe you bring him to salon when your hb or yourself are cutting hair, not to let him cut hair but to let him watch the process and explain
to him..?

Good idea! Maybe we will try that next time. Just to show him we're cutting hair.
Btw, last sun @ vivio toys r us, there a JL salon inside, i also ask my hub to bring him to see others cutting hair but he no feeling i guess... Last sat at the salon, there's a little boy sitting besides him cutting too, i talk to him nicely also, but he cannot be bothered and continue screaming, crying!

i have the same prob with HX when cutting her nails..she simply refused to let me do it and will just snatch the cutter away and pretend to her them herself...got to do it when she's sleeping...sigh..any better ways??
