I'll be closing the BP by tomorrow evening, 6pm. If I do not hear from you then, I will assume that all orders are in. Reason being, I'll be goign back to work and will have lesser time to log on to the forum. Thanks mummies for the understanding.

Now the problem is the picking up location. I spoke to the supplier, he doesn't mind mailing the invoice as well as the postage charges to you.

So let's say, we have more than 10 books per title, he will charge us at $3 per book. It still works out to be $9 for 3 books. Since most mummies here are buying 5 books each, it will cost you $15 + the postage charges...

ohhh...and just contacted the supplier...the last picture book's title is actually, "Nicky the Big Bad Wolf"

This is the book with fantastic illustration but very little words. I personally feel that this book would be very good for our young children to narrate it as and how they like it. This in turn will help them in their creative writing and oral presentation later on in life.

There are a few SAHMs here - some of us are working as well. I am working near Cityhall area which quite near to Maxwell Road. HI,

I visited Kinderland@CCK center and Children Network yesterday. I must say i'm very impressed with Kinderland. Very clean, neat and organised. After much difficulty, I managed to secure 1 place for Ariene in Aug but my hubby feels its too far so we're still discussing. Maybe I can kachoo him to join the JG programme instead *fingers crossed*.

As for Children Network, I was not impressed by them at all after seeing how good Kinderland is. First impression, the slides and playground outside very faded and dirty. Don't look well maintained. Pouch area very dirty and there's a big dirty, dusty carpet at the doorstep. I walk in, the place looks rather poorly maintained and the floor is also quite dirty. My feet were black when I got home from the dirty floor. There was mosquitoes inside as well. The bridge joining the 2 houses together was rusty too and the classrooms were not very clean. While I was talking to the lady in charge, 3 of the girls (I think they're 2+ yrs old) fought and 1 of them bit another girl's hand and all 3 started crying. In my opinion, I didn't think they managed it very well and they were not even aware of what happened even though there were 2 adults sitting there (I dont know if they are teachers, there was 1 male and 1 female there but the female looked more lika fillipino maid to me?). They only know the girl got bitten on the hand after my maid told me what she saw and I told them what happened.

Does it have any pocket to allow us to insert nappy liners? I was thinking of getting the Bum Wear inserts and put it into the training pants to catch poos.

No it doesn't have. Its like a thick shorts and I think it can absorb at most urine 1 time. its not meant to be worn as a diaper. Its meant for those who can already exercise control over their bladder and its only supposed to catch accidents, no full blow releases.

Hi MamaPanda,

Tell your hubby it's a good deal. This group has a queue of 3 months and it's good that CL can secure a good timeslot for the group and the program's pretty comprehensive. I've been toying with the idea of joining since yesterday, but have to give it up due to a few other considerations.

I've heard mixed reviews of Kinderland@CCK. But as usual, each parent has her own set of criteria ... glad u found and secure a place for Ariene.

Mamachan, I don't know much about the Disney Set of books actually. I took a very brief look at it but I'm more masked abt the reputable name of Groiler/Scholastic. My #1's school offers Scholastic bookclub and the books are from the same supplier.
