Hey mommies who have signed up, finally got hold of Jasmine, the date that I've proposed is ok, however, there are already about 10 pax in the class, so plus us, will be 25 to 26. Jasmine mentioned that with a very large class, it is still doable, but we won't have the maximum fun. So, she has opened a new empty time slot for us, which is 12:30pm on the same date. i think it also depends on how close the 2 pregnancies are. if they are close, it may be safer to still go for C-section. i know of an ex colleague who went natural for 2nd one. but another colleague's gynae din advise her to go for natural after c-section for first one cos of some risks involved. best to discuss with gynae when nearer

i think my sis' fren had low placenta for both pregnanices. bed rest and dun exert too much. baby most probably will be earlier than due date.

actually my frens who went for it said it's actualyl quite good. my natural birth also quite stressful as i pushed very long until i got UTI after that cos the whole V area so sensitive...

my maid just told my mum that JH has some redness on the face. after getting a neighbour to pop in, she discovered it was a bruise. probably fell down or knock into something. as usual when ask my maid, she say he din fall or knock into anything. hb was quite angry hearing that JH got a bruise but i told him no point scolding her. but i still need to tell her to be more careful right? but if i say something liek that, she may feel that i m accusing her. so how shd i put it?

Dear mummies,
I just found out from my JC fren tat her hb's niece, a 2 yr old, is suffering from Central Hypoventilation Condition.(http://www.emedicine.com/ped/topic1645.htm) According to my fren, the doctor says no cure. She is in & out of hospital. Currently in infant ward & has symptoms of hypothermia & hypoglceric. Because of her condition, she has oxygen fed to her through a tube in her neck. The father said that there were two cases in singapore, of which they all passed on when they reached age of 3.

I hope more mummies here will help to pray for the little girl. Sorry to dampen the mood here. I know its Easter holidays....long weekend for all. But feel very sad when I heard this.

ER.. i am not scaring you .. but it will be beter to monitor and see for the next few days or weeks if the bruise still do appear for nothing.. if it does i think it will be better to bring him for a check up...

my neighbour's son was having bruise and she decided to bring him to see doc plus he keeps having nose bleeding .. they have seen many PD but they just mention tat it is the nose vessel.. then they when to this PD and decided to do a blood test.. and it struck them that the son was having lukemia...

hmmm, maybe just assure your maid that you know that JH is at the age where he's most mobile and active and sometimes, they can fall and hurt themselves without crying. Just ask her to be on the extra lookout for him whenever he's trying his own stunts. When Daren hurt himself from a fal or tripping over while running, my maid will immediately report it to me when I get home from work without me looking at him thoroughly to notice. Sometimes when he gets a huge baluku, she will call me and inform me immediately and the measures she had taken to reduce the swelling.
 
SY - i also tink shld just talk to the maid and ask her wat happen. falls are inevitable at our babies' age,but at least we know how it happend and take extra precaution like wat the others mentioned. i also hate it when they try to hide from me bout how celeste fell,esp when theres no evidence of bruises. My MIL will also just keep mum until i question my maid and she will then interrupt to explain. i tink as parents,we just want to be aware of wats going on wf our kids rather than to blame and pinpoint... they just dun understand!

Wenyl - its such a sad news to hear. Pray that God will be able to give the girl super natural healing and bring forth the miracle that only HE can perform. And may the family continue to rely on God as their pillar of strenth and hope.

yeah i hope to get the right message across to her. even with me ard, i can't guarantee JH will be accident free so of cos i won't blame her. but i just wan her to recog that accidents happen and how it can be prevented. if she choose to keep saying nothing happen, then i cannot tell her how to prevent it.

lucky my MIL went to my place yesterday and not today or else the maid sure get it. my MIL always keep telling my mum that every night she cannot sleep thinking abt the maid and JH being alone....

About maid. I think you can have a heart to heart talk to the maid. Check with her how she coping with housework and alone with JH ? Is JH more mobile now , maybe she need to prioritise to JH while you all can close 1 eye to the housework etc. It is like to struck a understanding.

I too was asking hb if I can have a maid. He ask me if I have problem myself coping with housework and 2 kids. It will be unfair to think the maid can cope with everything. So he oso feels maid is not the solution for us

It's funny how your MIL will say such a thing. Is your MIL working or?? I think for in our case of leaving our ds home with our maids, the occasional dropping in to check on things from both sides' mums are also good. I guess for now just have to tell your maid that in the case of big swelling bruises, to apply ice on the area to reduce swelling and to call you to inform.
 
denmy, skimmed thru post and read about your baby's due date. I'm an aries and my hubby's a taurus. I think I'm alot laid back than he is. In fact he can get pretty anal. However, have to admit that he is very smart. Hee.. He's also a double bull. Damn stubborn. =)

Low placenta

In early stages, the gynae told me my placenta is low..then at 5th mth detailed scan, its shows very low and entirely covering the cervix..that's why gynae rather i not fly back to hanoi. She did not tell me not to BD but i also didnt la..hb also not around! hehe..

but make sure do not over exert.

Hey mommies who have signed up, finally got hold of Jasmine, the date that I've proposed is ok, however, there are already about 10 pax in the class, so plus us, will be 25 to 26. Jasmine mentioned that with a very large class, it is still doable, but we won't have the maximum fun. So, she has opened a new empty time slot for us, which is 12:30pm on the same date. Is everyone ok with that? Please indicate whether you are ok, or you wanna stick to the 2:30pm slot. if so, then we will probably split the class, thanks!

Venue: Great World City
Costs: $29.50 for trial (usual is $35)
Proposed Date: 28th April, Saturday
Time : 12:30pm (new slot)or 2:30pm (existing class with 10 pax already)
