Elijah has lotsa hair. Juz shaved my boy's hair and hopefull will grow out nicely. He still has this small patch at the back not very well grown.

RE : Sick Baby
Haiz...my boy was down wif fever on Thurs. Took temp at home was hovering ard 36.9 and 37.5. Went to GP and was 38.8!!! So shock! Was given antibiotics too and developed allergy shortly. Rashes and neck and head wif his lymph nodes enlarged! Quickly rushed to KK as already late. KK doc not very pro. Din do a thorough check. Gave me a new med and he threw up whenever i try to feed. No way i cld make him take it. Luckily the fever subsided but then...came the runny nose and cough. Cough so badly yesterday that threw up a few times with face all red. Today alot better. Seriously, its very tiring for mummies when a child falls sick. Indeed an unforgetable Xmas for me.

Here's a pic. Managed to coax him to wear the beanie...he hates it...

my boy doesnt suck his fingers but wld at times put his index finger in to "dig". He will gag sometimes so try to refrain him from doing that.

He's always scratching himself. His head and neck especially. His neck gets red wif rashes when he scratches too much. Rather dry. So thot of trying the CB calendular cream.

for Dylan, on and off he will have rashes on his face and neck too. so what i do is apply a thin layer while he is in lala land. after applying once or twice, the rashes will be cleared =)

my friend passed away at 11plus this morning.

Her family decided to bring her home in a ambulance this morning and the doc mentioned that she may not make it back. she managed to arrive home safely but she passed away shortly after that. guess she wants to go home to leave the world from a familiar place.
it's really very sudden and sad for us here.

Aden oso had high fever for 2 nights liao. Shot to 38.9. I have 2 sleepless nights. Now he is with nanny while I just brought my gal for Charlotte's web which we promised her. So tiring.

the dryness on the neck has been bugging me and i think it makes it more itchy i guess. He's nails are rather sharp and even though we trim them short, they are very "sharp". There are spots with dry blood due to his "hard" scratching.

Indeed must take care of myself. Cant expect and rely hubby to look after boy. If he doesnt mess things up, I'm happy enough. Was suppose to host a gathering and told a friend might not be able to make it due to the situation. She din sound please and commented that I dont "whine" as I've chosen to be a mummy. I din whine but sounded tired. I wldnt say that's very understanding. Haiz...she's a single and i guess she wldnt understand the frustration and stress in us. Sometimes u juz hate it when someone say that right? "Since u want to give birth and be a mum, then dun complain."

I've also left my boy with aunt. I need the rest very much. My MIL wasnt very happy that I din keep him at home when its raining outside. I din tell her abt the allergy and bad cough yesterday. She wld flip if she knows it.She's ultra kan cheong with him.

Oddly, my boy din feel hot on the body and all the heat on head. I also blur..he felt hot to me even though the thermometer showed 36.9 constantly. Only brought him to GP at night.

Yup I oso have Vaseline petroleum gel on standby for this purpose. But he does not scratch lah, See rashes I will just apply.

I kept his temp down to 36 , then went to take 40 winks, next moment shot up again. Very stress.
