I was diagnosed with cysts and polysps before I was pregnant. The location of the cyst was near the ovary and I was told that could affect fertility and was advised to go for IVF by KK to conceive. I had already gone for an Op in KK to remove the polysys by a senior spec in KK but another senior doctor in KK wanted me to go for yet another op to examine the uterus (which they claimed was thicker than normal and that could be an indication of uterian cancer). However, I was not convinced and decided to go see a fertility specilist, Prof Ng. After doing some checks (without the need for any op), Prof Ng said I am perfectly alright and can conceive without problems. True enough, I was pregnant shortly after. so, Esh_mummy, its always better to seek another opinion. If u want the contact to my gynae who is very experienced in such problems, drop me a PM.

Hmmm, personally, I don't see the need of sending your maid back home as I believe JH has already settled comfortably with her and your family has more or less established a comfort level. Like what Denmy said, you should issue a warning to her that if she's found to be lying and dishonest again, or you find that her required work is affected due to having a hp, you'll not hesitate to send her back without warning. Also, now that you know and she knows that you know that she has a hp, tell her that she can only make calls at night when JH sleeps or when her chores for the evening is done. You might want to consider to keep her hp for her under lock and key and only pass to her for use at night.

Haha. Many a times, we won't know each other until a common source is mentioned. I chose Daren's name spelt with a single R as I tot it makes it more unique. I didn't the Daren Lee from GMC also spelt that way. Anyway, Daren's name was initially to be spelt as Daran (same pronounciation), but after hearing some pple attempting to pronounce it in a different way, we changed our mind.

My MIL's Fhilipino maid had also lied to us on HP issues. On her first month here, she cried to said that her brother got kick out of school cos they cannot afford the school fees. My MIL pity her and gave her $100 to send home to settle her home affairs. But a few weeks later, she request that we bring her out to buy a HP and we wonder where she gets the money and she said it's the $100 that MIL gave her plus some CNY angpow......... anyway we refused. But weeks later, we notice she was always in her room and sound like she's talking to someone. We found out she has a HP. We are not mad that she owns one but we wonder where she got it since she's not suppose to leave home......... our conclusion is thats he sneak out of the house when we are not in. This is more serious than lying about HP..........

I agree with mamapanda, get a second opinion. Especially if you found out abt the polycystic ovaries from a general check up, the GP may not interpret it properly and tell u to operate. My gynae says ifmust operate everytime its like that, he would be a rich man (i still think he is a rich man...hahaha)

I'll not send the maid back immediately if it's only about owing a hp. Perhaps you have to observe if your maid's behaviour is "unusual" lately such as is she calling another man? Cos is not easy to train a new maid since you have been quite comfortable with her.

My hb bought the AIA a few child plans for Ariene to cover her medical and in case anything happens to us. We had quite a good offer from AIA cuz babies born in gleneagles are given free insurance from them and we expanded from the free plan.
