Now that you mentioned it. Actually my boy's teeth started coming out after I wean him off BM. When he was down to 1 feed of BM per day, I noticed his 2 bottom teeth cutting through.

We seldom carry him, always rotate him from station to station ( rocker, chair, exersaucer, bumper mat, cot and our bed)

Recently just bought a combi carrier from a mummy in this forum, used it twice and it really helps a lot. Only problem is he is now in the inquisitive stage where he wants to look around and not just lean against me.

When u said replaced milk feed, do u mean not having to feed milk and cereal at the same time within one feed?

I owe u this recipe that i mentioned to u earlier...

Steamed egg yolk with milk

2 egg yolks
4 table spoon milk (EBM/FM)

1.beat egg & stir in milk. put in a bowl
2.Using steaming method.. ie bowl on a stand sitting in a pot of water... add the bowl of egg & milk to the pot when the water is boiling...
3. steam over low heat. Cover the bowl with a turned over dish and cover the pot when steaming for a smoother texture of egg pudding
4.steam for 15 min
5. cool and serve

I used EBM... the consistency is like chawan mushi.. my mom did a test run with FM.. not so smooth consistency

yup, that's what i meant. As I still latch him on when I'm at home, I'm not sure how much BM he's taking. For EBM, he takes abt 10 ounces when i'm at work. Not sure if it's ok for him to take so little milk.

Re: Breastfeeding baby with teeth
When his tooth first appeared, Gabriel initially liked to bite me when breastfeeding. It hurt and I would tell him to stop. He doesn't bite me these days anymore.

I think so long the egg yolk is fully cooked i.e. by boiling or steam should be fine.

do we feed all the 2 egg yolk (if bb want).. will it be too much.
SHould we be worry for cholestrel for bb? or nevermind.

Mel
I've replaced 2 milk feeds with semi-solids already. My boy, Daren, is now served lunch and dinner, mainly porridge. But since he is in infant care, his lunch menu changes. He's now able to eat 1 full bowl (the children's ikea one) for lunch and dinner. Milk is served in between as tea-breaks. Hope this info helps.
