Hello mummies,
Aileen,
I read about this Connie girl a few motnhs ago on 8 days ... but didn't get to see any video clip. Thanks for posting. Her singing was just beautiful, she had the whole audience rapt in silence.
sl,
Sure, see you at 2pm at City Hall mrt?
I'll email you again.
Re. papaya soup
I only drank in during the stay in TMC and one more time in the first week after birth. Dunno if it helps with the MS cos drank it only like 4 times? Anyway, my MS was pretty good. I attribute it more to the regular latching rather than the soup. I mean, I was obsessed about not giving Isaac the bottle at all and would make sure that I latch him on every 3 hours.
Re. speech
I'm amazed at how much some of your babies can say already. Some can even sing! Isaac is still so slow... He recently seemed to trying to pronounce some words like 'ball', 'keys', 'blue' but not doesn't sound very accurate. Only thing he can say very clearly is 'Daddy'. It's crystal clear and sounds very sweet. I'm so jealous of my HB. But I'm pretty glad that he absorbs things very fast, he has mastered the entire alphabet in capital letters and can now identify some small letters liao. For numbers, it's 1 to 11. He also knows quite a lot of shapes and can understand some opposites like big and small. I'm wondering whether to start him on words.
re. stranger anxiety
Isaac has a very bad case of stranger anxiety. He cries whenever he see someone unfamiliar and will latch on to me and bury his face in my shoulders. I had dinner with my friends last sat and when he saw them, he refused to look at them and just held on to me tightly. Lasted almost throughout the dinner... any of your babies are like that? I'm quite concerned. Maybe I should enrol him to classes to get him to develop social skills?
