Mngo,
This is how i prepare nat meals :
- 2 FM scoop(60ml) of rice with half pot of water-my slow cooker quite small. Water u dun ve to worry as u can add in if it's dry up.
- For minced pork, i will put in together with the rice, to sweeten the porridge.
- It take 2-3 hrs to get it cook. For me, to shorten the cooking time, i will boil it over the stove. But u ve to make sure the pot that u ve can cook over the stove as they ve 2 type of pot.
- For fish n vege, i will put in half an hr b4 her meal time. Bal plain porridge, i will store in the thermal flask for din. Din fish n vege i will cook over the stove.
For rice, i think u ve to judge urself becos for normal cooking-over the stove, i nd 2 scoop of FM for 1 meal but for slow cooker, 2 scoop of rice can last for 2 meals.

Hi mommies...Stef jus came down with up & down fever between 37.8 to 38.8, stayed up to put cold towel on her forehead...her body was SOOOOO HOT!!!... Stef is going to hv her MMR next Thurs, jus wonder shld I postpone....

Stef had gone to see her regular doc yesterday and got stronger medication - she's very heaty, doc claimed and wld review her again on Thurs/Fri FOC....Wat I like abt this doc is he knows watz he's assessing and he's very detailed...now I cursed & swear @d doc @East Shore, brought her on Monday in the wee hrs @3am cos her body was very hot and all the doc said was jus monitor her fever-datz it, no further details and charge me for $107!!!!
I think so too to postpone the MMR jab cos dont want her to go thru' another fever...but how long can I delay the jab, any mommy know?

Oh the bumper mat from small small world ah? I have the Pooh one at home. Bought it when RY was learning how to crawl / walk so it serves its purpose as a cushion for his falls. In future it will be good for #2 to lie there and play with his/her baby gym, and for #2 to learn how to sit / crawl / walk etc. One thing good is that when RY munches on his bisuits on the mat, it can be cleaned easily. We also change his diaper on the mat so if any stain can also be wiped off. Aiyah! Why dun you come to my place and see lah!

Steamed Beancurd Cup
--------------------
Ingredients:
~1/4 square piece of beancurd(depends on how much your baby can eat)
~ 1 eggyolk, beaten with some water
~ 1 ch sp carrot(grated) & tomato(chopped finely)
~ a few spinach leaves, blanched and chopped finely
Method,
Mash the beancurd with fork, add beancud and veg to beaten egg. Place in cup/bowl and steam for abt 20mins(low heat). Make sure this is cook before serving to your baby. Turn it out and serve with rice(make sure the rice are very soft).
Egg yolk Custard
----------------
Ingredients:
~ 1 egg yolk (I use the whole egg though, not just the yolk)
~ 60ml of formula/breast/fresh milk
~ a little water (i used about 60ml h20)
~ meat (optional)
Method:

Steamed Beancurd Cup

Ingredients:
~1/4 square piece of beancurd(depends on how much your baby can eat)
~ 1 eggyolk, beaten with some water
~ 1 ch sp carrot(grated) & tomato(chopped finely)
~ a few spinach leaves, blanched and chopped finely
Method,
Mash the beancurd with fork, add beancud and veg to beaten egg. Place in cup/bowl and steam for abt 20mins(low heat). Make sure this is cook before serving to your baby. Turn it out and serve with rice(make sure the rice are very soft).
Egg yolk Custard

~ 1 egg yolk (I use the whole egg though, not just the yolk)
~ 60ml of formula/breast/fresh milk
~ a little water (i used about 60ml h20)
~ meat (optional)

I suppose to bring Wilfred for MMR jab tomorrow but hes not so feeling well these few days. Like duffys Chloe last time before went for MMR, Wilfreds body also is hot but the temperature is abt 37.5-37.8 only.but yesterday he started coughing. Hence, I have to postpone the MMR jab until he is fully recovered.
