Hi Jen, yes, there are 2 kinds, (1) Clarins Tonic Body Treatment Oil (Huile) (oil in short, fat glass bottle) & (2) Clarins Stretch Mark Control (cream in tube form). I've only tried the oil so not sure of the price & effectiveness of the cream.

Hi planet, is this the Bio Oil u r talking about? Is this website selling it cheaper? http://beehiveforqueen.blogspot.com/search/label/Bio-Oil Hmmm, but I've already gotten 2 bottles of Clarins oil which is much more expensive. I've used Clarins for my 1st pregnancy and no stretchmarks as...

HI IceCherry, since you have gone to the Mt A hospital tour, do you know what they provide for newborn babies at discharge? When I had my #1 there, they gave us the bathtub that the baby was using. Do they still do it now?

Maxiblur, err.. think once a week is a bit too frequent? Stingray are high in mercury level which can affect fetal brain development. I love it too but totally avoided it now & during my 1st pregnancy. Maybe you can choose other kind of fish cooked in the same BBQ way?

LSnTYL> I didn't try the confinement powder as I've read some reviews that it actually clumped up the hair, making it even more unbearable. Even if not bathing, daily washing of private area with soap is a must as instructed by gynae.

Al> I only endured the 'no washing hair' part cos I've short hair, so I just tied them up into a small stump. I did bathe with the herb water & wipe down with warm water every other day. To me, bathe or just wipe seems the same, still feel warm & not very clean!

I agree with both Al & Babytum's points, but sometimes we have to think of our parents' feelings as well. I have a fren whose mother blame herself for not doing my fren's confinement well when my fren complains of backaches, etc. So, will yr mum (most likely) blame herself for not imparting...

Planet - Birdbrain has explained for me already. The likelihood of a match between parent and child is even lower if I remembered correctly.

For me, we did store with Cordlife for #1, so only fair to do so for #2 bah. Ya, I've been having more dreams than usual too & they get more dramatic as well, sometimes I end up crying in real life. Thus, it made me feel unrested even though I slept early. This happened in my 1st...

IceCherry - I heard that to get another washing machine, we must have another water outlet or something. Is it troublesome to do that? Cos I'm considering a washing machine for bb's clothes too.

I agree with Birdbrain that tummy tends to show faster after the 1st child. As this is my 2nd pregnancy, my tummy starts to show much earlier as compared to the 1st one when it became obvious in mid of 2nd trimester. My jeans can't fit already & I've already started using anti stretch mark...
