At close to 4 weeks old mine is taking 90ml per feed x 8 ( once it was even 9 times!), when on the bottle. Im worried about overfeeding too as I'm pretty sure he doesn't need this much; think my mom overdoes it sometimes. I'm now back to exclusive breast feeding for half a day while bottle...

Can try pump and latch to increasw supply. Eg before giving the bottle you let bb suckle first; got to be try to get bb to empty the breast so he gets the rich hind milk too. Then give the bottle after that if bb shows signs of wanting more. Do this while keeping to your regular pumping...

Have been absolutely knackered having to handle a 4yr old over enthusiastic big sister (she couldn't keep her hands odf her didi) and all the night feeds/diaper changing/pumping sterilizing etc etc. Hubby doesn't help ... sighs. Min, just keep nursing. It really does make a difference in 3...

greatest nightmare for post c-sec mommies * sneezing and coughing I had a scratchy throat and was inflicted with a mild cough at day 2 after my surgery. And boy did I get anxiety attacks whenever I felt a cough coming. It hurt the sh*t out of me and the anticipation of one coming was even...

Hi Dreambig, FYI, I got this chart from Kellymom which, by the way, is an AMAZING portal filled with really useful information. NEWBORN BF INTAKE - newborns really take very little breastmilk at this stage. If your bb is crying alot at this stage it is really not likely to be due to your...

Dreambig, kudos to you indeed for sticking firmly to your belief in total bf-ing. Your hubby is such a champ for standing by you too. Your cl sounds like a complete a**hole. Might be better off getting rid of her if you can get additional help elsewhere. This sort of grief is really not worth...

Hi azel, Mofmm, Glad that the info helps. To be more accurate though, what I meant is to put on binder while still in the operating theatre before being wheeled out. In hindsight I shouldn't have said "upon stitching" ... cis they still have to clean and what nots. Heeee just in case...

Oh surgical binders. My 2nd csec now n I concur that they are life savers. However pls note that they do come in 3 or 4 broad sizes and only adjustable within its specific range. Best to get from your gynae or after admitting. Can ask gynae to check for you in adv on whether the hospital will...
