SSS, day 17 scan for medicated is fine. i have a friend who did scan on day 16.
Cos its medicated so it is control n won't affect anything.

Bbsteps, u have already done your best n whatever outcome we cannot control. Hope to hear good news from you soon. Stay positive its not over yet.

SSS im on progynova d9 tdy. Will be going for my d14 scan this sat. Hopefully, the blood tests will be good to proceed *cross fingers*

Hi hazel, wat blood tests did u do for fet? Cos I didn't hav any done
 
Hazel, I am also on progynova. Did you have pimples and difficulty to sleep at night?

What bt are you doing?

For me, I was told that after my scan this wed, I will then be advised what to do.
 
Actually, my last 2 med FETs, I have to take ocp, lucrin etc... but this time, I have changed another gynae and only issued with progynova for med FET. Very simple.

It's been a super long long time since I came into this thread... since 2011 i think..? Gave birth to my little girl via FET in 2012, now contemplating if I should go ahead with another FET this time round (since I have 3 embbies left in KKH). However, Dr Loh is now with TMC.. Anyone has any recommendations which ivf doc I should consult in KK? Really lost track now... thanks :)

Away,I think it varies fr person to person... For me, I had a total of abt 4 cups spaced out n my bladder was abt 3/4 full.,, heard fr e nurse that not good to b too full either.. Will e nurse b helping u to do a check on e bladder before e procedure? Takes time for e bladder to b filled up too.. N thereafter u will still need to lie down for abt 20min after e procedure..

Hi SSS,

I have no difficulty sleeping at night. In fact I feel so tired all the time that I've been turning in earlier than usual. Haha

I did notice I've been having small little pimples which I dint usually have any outbreak. Not sure if it's related to progynova.

I'll be doing E2 and progesterone test in at morning itself and my appt is in the afternoon. So by then I'll know what's the bt results and How's the lining from the scan.

Wow! Congrats, kitty28! Collecting lotsa bb dusts for myself... Barely only a few days in 2ww.... Hope u will hav a smooth 9 mths preparing for e delivery

Hi Dreamirene
Actually they started on using scan during the ET procedure 2 months ago.
Thus my last FET in June was kind of the first few times that they used a scan while doing ET.
I drank like 3-4 cups of water before the procedure and my bladder was not full,
during the scan, they cant see much but still proceed as they said they have always done ET without scan,
it's just a new protocol that's all.
Okok, i think i would drink at least 5 cups to be sure!

Away, if u wan , mayb ask e nurse if she can check on e bladder... When I went in on fri, I wasn't really feeling like high tide like my fresh.... Drank a lot more during fresh,,,, she said doc also doesn't like too full cos is like fighting for space with e bladder .. Haha

Back from FET!
My bladder was too full, I try to hold until my back was hurting so much and start see stars,
So I went to pee! Then when the gynae arrives, I told him sorry I couldn't hold it.
My gynae said its ok, let's see.
And when he scan, in fact my bladder was still quite full!
So in fact, my bladder was overloaded that why I felt the pain in my back :p

Early morning i went down for BT, just reached office and KKIVF called liao.
Good news! It a BFP. hcg reading around 500plus so i assume should be singleton.
Later afternoon after 2pm will try to go collect medicine.
Baby dusts for you all! Everyone Jia you!
 
Congrats Kitty and Jo. Babysteps all the best for BT tomorrow.

I have been silent for awhile as was down with bad bad flu. Yesterday NUH called me. Hubby also has Thalassemia. Its a rare occurrence for both to have the trait. So I have to go for further test. Just felt like the world crushing on me when I heard the news. Hopefully am cleared for IVF. Read that if both partners have, we can only do IVF and that too with PGD, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and transfer an embryo not affected by thalassemia.

GOD is just putting us thru so much. Stress after stress. Bad news after bad news. Its just getting tougher and challenging. Just wish to say those who have embarked in IVF are really lucky. GOD has given you the opprtunity. For me, the entrance to IVF is already a BIG BIG challenge.

Me and hubby are healthy and very normal. If not for this blood test we would not have known a thing man, Any of you have this issue?? Pls advise. Thanks

My HCG was 610 and I said it should be a singleton since I only have 1 ET. But the nurse told me that it may not be necessary as the egg may split into two to be fraternal twins? I'm not sure abt that though coz I'm already happy and thankful that I'm pregnant. What's your HCG level Kitty28?

I heard from ppl saying if above 1k chances of twin higher. but everything have to wait until the scan to double confirm. Mostly you migh have twin.
