Yeah! The anxiety is not healthy, especially when we want to start our ivf cycle soon!
Which doctor are you with?
I have been spotting reddish-brown everyday ever since I started on Gynera 10 days ago. I did check with my doc and she said it's pretty normal to be spotting. But that's the least of my concerns, as I need my period to come on the stipulated date of the ivf cycle.
Are you on Gynera too?

I am not on any medication except Duphaston which I took for 1 week 2 tablets a day. My scheduled mensus should come today but seems like I have yet to experience any symptoms. Haizzz..
Anyway, I am with Dr Sadhana.. Wat abt you?

I was on Duphaston too to induce my menses, but no signs so Dr. Marianne Hendricks, my fertility specialist, suggested I started on Gynera straight away. Not sure if Gynera is supposed be 'stronger'?

My doc also said that it might take up to a week after your last dosage of duphaston for your menses to come. Mine didn't come after 10 days.

Your doc will only start u on jabs when menses comes? For NUH they count n give u the pill n start..in fact they didnt even ask me if my menses came coz during scan my menses had not reported..they did ask me on first scan if came or not..after tat no

Ya. Need to start the jabs on Day Two of a 'fresh' Menstrual Cycle. But now I am just spotting non-stop ever since the day I took Gynera.

Are you now in your TWW?

Day 1-5: 1 jab at night Day 6 onwards on 2 jabs..one morn & one night..tomorrow im going for appt so will see anymore to add..im on day 8 of stims tomorrow

Watch youtube videos on the injection procedures all day today for mental preparation! It really helps, I think. :) best of luck, babe!
 
Hi all!

A quick question.

I missed my Gynera (bcp) for about 30 minutes, so instead of taking it at my usual time 1030 pm, I took it at 11 pm. It shouldn't be a concern, right?

I have emailed my doctor, and still waiting for her reply. :eek:

Hey Adlina..how i do it is bring the needle close to the skin n then push it in with a bit of force..if you are on pen the needles are v v fine..gentle push n its in..the syringe ones need a bit more force..like you i was so worried on how i'm going to jab myself but after 8 days im like a pro already..hahaha! Dont worry you can do it! It's not as scary as we think it is.
Choose an area on tummy with fats..
 
My brown discharge has turned to red flow. just emailed my doc, and she asked to come for baseline scan and begin injections tomorrow.

Totally didn't expect my ivf cycle to start way earlier!
 
Had my baseline scan today.
My lining was considered too thick on a Day 2 - 8mm!
Going in for another scan on Fri, and hopefully it has thinned out by then :(
But I am still going ahead with the injections.

Anyone had any experience with thick lining on Day 2?

My lining was 6mm on day 2. Day 4 it became 3mm. Urs should be less a lot by day 4 if ur flow still strong.
 
hi ladies! finally joining the nov cycle as my oct period came super late.. looks like NUH has different timing procedure than KKH ya? jia you to all! i did my first jab of orgalutran today and only starting stims in 5 days' time. nervous as this is my first cycle but trying to take it easy..
 
Im down to 2 jabs tomorrow & then trigger shot past midnight..cant believe time has flown so fast...
We all should all be so proud of ourselves for taking on this journey..its not an easy one!
Im doing my retrieval on Friday & no transfer as ive to remove a polyp..
So will be frozen cycle next..praying for good embroys...

Hi Wedelia, today is my day 4 of jab. Ok I managed to brave myself and did it on my own. Tmrw i will need to do 2 jabs.. Stressful. 1 pen 1 syringe.... Haizzz..

I did some spring cleaning at work today, and I was carrying heavy items at some point.
Do you think this might affect follicle growth?

I'm new here. Started my 1st IVF this month at SGH, under DR Yu.. Have my first inject Centrotide last Thur for 6 days and start my Gonal-F yesterday. Kind of scare have to inject myself. Feeling is bad. My hand trembling a bit. Oh my Gosh..

Hi babe.
How did they confirm that you have a polyp in your lining? Was it suspected earlier on your day 2 of baseline scan?
