Dreams, I think this book is really quite good. I feel sisters who have mc before or failed cycles will find this book motivating. It tells you a lot of stuff that doctors don't. In my opinion, worth getting it !

As of today.. 4 of them are 8 cells and 2 of them only 4 cells.. In my last cycle I only had 3 successful 5 day blastocysts.. Really hope all 6 of them can make it this time. Now the most stressful call everyday is from the embryologist...

I'm with TMC and my lab is at Mount E. Yah daily calls quite stressful! She did suggest calling a few days once actually.. I think I'm too anxious, so I kept to the daily calls, like my last cycle.
I think the most impt call is first day post retrieval, day 3 and day 5 if doing blast. When waiting for the calls i make sure phone on to loudest and kept beside me.. go toilet also take phone with me.. Very stress

Hahaha I didn't know what is 'atas' and had to check with my colleague. Most women who seek private doctors first are not acting anything, but do so for the more personalized attention. I'm someone who has A LOT of questions (occupational hazard), and I suspect most doctors in the govt hospitals don't have the time/bandwidth to deal with my concerns. I like a doctor who inspires confidence in me with his knowledge and ability to address my worries and questions, and govt specialists have to deal with the patient load. Also most private specialists previously also came from govt hospital (its part of the MOH bond, if they attended NUS med). And the top people in govt hospital always leave and set up their private clinic. There is a brain drain from the govt hospital that leaks to the private sector since forever and its no secret. That is why I quickly signed up to do my IVF at KK with Tan Heng Hao before he leaves because from my reading of tea leaves, he will probably go to the private sector for better working conditions in time to come. His master Loh Seong Feei also left.

If you examine the photos of the "birthday parties" that Dr Lim gives to his patients in the clear folder, you'll see the 3 of them in one of the photos and they looked sooo young then i wonder how long they been working for Dr Lim.Wonder if the 3 female assistants will ever leave or just retire from there
