hi koras, Mine too. I've asked 2 different PDs (whenever I bring Jonas to see them for other ailments) and they are not too worried... Boys tend to be slower and if he's still able to get his point across, should be ok. One of them also asked whether his daddy had the same "issue". She said I...

tslittleone, I sent 2 of my kids to childcare (and will probably send the 3rd one as well) and yes, they do fall sick often. As the PD said, think positively and take this as an opportunity to build up their immunity. The situation will definitely get better over time. Fish oil is good for...

Hello mummies, Long time no see ! I have been quietly reading the thread Looks like most of you are planning holidays. I brought Joshua to HK 2 years back (he was abt 2.5YO), he enjoyed Disneyland a lot but not HK city itself. I have also heard a couple of horror stories about kidnapping in...

Hi hong, Despite being 3rd time mum, I still have to go through the same struggles (breastfeeding, how to get enough rest, getting the older ones used to mei mei etc)... As I told the PD, I'm literally being pulled left, right and centre if all 3 wants me at the same time. Just that I've...

lucida, I agree with MTDT and LP. They are only young once and it's hardest when they are dependent on us for all their basic needs. But it's fulfilling. I truly enjoy it when Josh volunteers to protect his brother, laughs when I see Jonas trying to imitate what his gor gor is doing, glad...

eeyore, I took 2 hours longer to deliver #2... Gynae said his head too hard, harder to squeeze through the birth canal. I have lots of boys' clothes so my bb gal will have lots of blue clothings...

Hello everybody! Joshua also has no homework from Mindchamps. They believe in learning through play and seems like they do a fair bit of activities in school (at least based on the newsletter they sent me). I also want to start Josh on swimming lessons but he's not keen. Only wants to play at...

Hello mummies, it has been a long time since I last logged in. Hope all of you are doing well. Zai, My boy is exactly like yours, not talking yet but can follow instructions. In fact, since he's #2, even my PD expected him to talk much earlier but she's not concerned. My #1 was still...

MS, If it's too young to send your gal at 18M, then u will probably think i'm heartless. Jonas has been in IFC since he's 3mths old, together with Joshua. I feel it's ok, but u need to be comfortable with the centre u choose.

hong/LP, MB is temporarily at Circuit Road, within 1 km of my MIL place. She claims the standard has dropped based on feedback from others, hence chose Geylang Methodist over MB for my nephew. LP, Alumni student is almost guaranteed a place. No need to fret.

YB, I'm forced to be KS cos I'm very "lucky" to be in an area where the 2 nearby schools (within walking distance or direct from condo) are very popular. So if we don't do anything, chances of J ending up in a school furthest away from home is really high. Then it's dummy whammy.

Goldfish, I'm sending J#1 to Mindchamps Preschool in Toa Payoh HDB Hub. J#2 is waitlisted. J#2 is still on all kinds of pureed food/yoghurt cos he is still toothless!

goldfish, I don't know of any couple who willingly hire a maid if there is no reason to. My hubby doesn't like the idea too but he doesn't have any other better suggestions. My maid waits for me at the childcare. Then we both cab home with the 2 kids in tow. Next year, J#1 will take school...
