Hi Josykw, you may Wanna give your Gynae a ring to at least have a peace of mind and understand your body.
As I mentioned to kitty88 before, my first pregnancy I spotted throughout my nine months, panicked umpteen times, went A n E etc given jabs n hormone pills... Some times pink , some times brown and even red. Cramps can be your expanding uterus too. And yes, usually when i cramp, I noticed I bleed or when I used force while puking. My son is now 19 mths and healthy.
However I do have one loss before too and same symptoms. So every body is different. Every pregnancy is different. Good to check and see what your gynae said.
Currently , I still do spot on and off as well like kitty88 but I now know that that's how my body works. Gynae mentioned some light brown is normal .

Umm, not sure about pi pa gao, as seems that some of the ingredients got herbs inside. Perhaps can try reading their instruction manual.

Better check with your gynae perhaps.
The jab is yesterday only. It is double dosage of the medication. Medication is to continue taking daily for stablise the hormones.
My next appt is 4th Sep. It will be before my trip. My trip will be I'm already at my 11 week. Did ask gynae she say I may travel. But have to move on the flight. Cannot sit all the way.

Yes , I've spotting on Fri and yesterday. You have to call your gynae if you are spotting. On Fri I have spot I guess is I've sneeze too hard. Yesterday I think I have uses some force. At first I was so worry about it As this is #1 and I even went a&e yesterday. Given hormoes jab and Med. Now I take it easy as now I know my body work this way now. Gynae told me as long as it's not heavy bleeding I'm fine. Light spotting do happen to some preggy in first trim.

This morning when I wipe after toilet was bright red, after that was ok. Now getting more and my pantyliner can see the blood. Waiting for my turn now, pray really hard everything will be fine.

Just got back from overseas. I tested positive and it is my first pregnancy. May I know what's the next step I should take? Go to gp and get a blood test to confirm or can i just book a 1st appt to see gynae?
Based on lmp, my edd shd be early april.

Pray hard for you . It will be fine. I'm also at my 6 weeks. Recall did u uses any force.
If Edd is early apr. You may book appt with gynae already. Usually you may see little Beanie and heartbeat flickering at 6 weeks.Hello everyone

just to share, dont take spotting (esp fresh red) lightly. for my #1 i had spotting from brown to red and cramping since week 6 and i didnt do anything about it. gynae didnt seem to think its serious. then i had very heavy fresh red bleeding (like waterfall) in week 12 that led to threatened miscarriage. managed to keep baby with lots of jabs and pills and bed rest. so this time round the situation is the same, brown and red spotting, on bed rest since week 5 and pills too. dont wanna aggravate the situation. ladies please have as much rest as you can! like my gynae said, resting is such a cheap and brainless thing, but it's the most effective.

Thx Kitty! I just reached home. My babies are fine and can hear their heartbeat. The bleeding is really terrified me. Guess last few days I did sneeze and may cause some force & throwing out feeling after my meal may uses force too.

Take care all! I'm also waiting for Oct! I guess I can't hide my bump anymore.. (Just like the first pregnancy) my manager asked me and said people are asking her too and someone give up seat to me while taking the train home.. Haha

Nope, can't see bump yet for me. For my first, my bump couldn't b seen till 5 months. Hope this time can be as compact too.

My appointment is on 30th and I am travelling before that. When consulted him,he said it's okay for me to travel.

But lately I found what I like to eat that doesn't cause waves of nausea!✌ so happy with my beverages like Horlicks n milo. With warm milk!! Fish really can die eating.. Used to love cod a lot.. Now.. It's a terrible dish for me. =(

Just had a minor car accident last weekend. Spotted twice the day after. Called clinic up n they said to keep our bodies hydrated and try to rest in bed. Managed to rest quite a bit.. And luckily the spotting gone within the day. (I was so so worried plus still had to handle my #1 - it's tough being a mum!!!!) Keeping to my gynae appt next fri.... So excited to see little beanie again. And this time I must remember to ask about the harmony test!!

I also realised my tummy is quite bloated now, cannot fit into my shorts anymore lol. I am going to the gynae clinic later on due to cramps, earlier than as scheduled date. Dr Tham is not available so I am seeing Dr Tan. My friend warned me that she might do internal check (quite roughly) -_- God bless me, lol...

Which hospital u going? At KKH, cramp or spotting they use something to poke in and u can hear the "cracking" sound when pushing in. How u feeling now? I do have cramp on n off too. How many week are u now? Take care ya!

I am going to Dr Tham at Thomson. But he's not free, so another gynae at the clinic will take me. For my first pregnancy, totally traumatised by KKH doctors, who did the internal probe. Even till now do PAP smear I am very nervous and worried haha! I think I am 4-5 wks. Thanks!

I'm taking the same med now, yesterday gynae at A&E ask me to increase the dosage to 3 times a day instead of 2.

This morning had mild cramp though but it was like awhile then nothing all the way.. Then came the spotting.. Had mild cramp and still spotting.. So worried now

I'm not sure which gynae are u with, for me I went to KKH O&G. Maybe u shld go to your gynae tmr? Meanwhile don't move ard, lie down n rest...

s_loh, it's better to visit your gynae. Is the clinic open today? Private gynaes would be able to prescribe Duphaston or hormone jab. As your last choice, I would recommend KKH 24 hour O&G. The doctors there may not be gynae, but MO specialising in women related illnesses. From my experience, KKH would not prescribe Duphaston, which is the hormone pills to help stabilize.
I'm taking that too. I'm taking 2 times a day.
Ya. I just insist say no la. But I think they roughly know themselves.
Yes, that might be why you spotting. I carry something around the weight of a laptop. Before I had spotting. Not to carry any heavy thing. We might think the weight is alright. But maybe to our body is consider heavy already.

Thanks all... Spotting had stopped since last night (fingers crossed) and I didn't go Gynae even though the clinic is open today be coz I already seen him when I'm at 4-5wks and he prescribed me with utrogestan
I guess he wldnt be able to do anything now? I hoping no more spotting n my next visit is thurs n will let him know..
