June School Holidays 2024 Activity + Makan Guide for Kids & Families in Singapore
School’s out for summer — well, at least from 25 May to 23 June — in Singapore, and that means one thing. Yes, it’s time to ditch the textbooks and dive headfirst into a month of epic adventures! Buckle up, because here’s a super cool list of activities to blast you through the June school holidays. We’re even throwing in lots of kids-eat-free promos to fuel upsized playtime. And since it’s the season that gives children reason to play, we kick off with Children’s Season 2024.

This June school holidays, enjoy some museum-hopping fun as a family. First, pick up a Children’s Season 2024 Stamp Booklet at any of the participating museums. Then participate in a simple activity at each museum to receive a stamp. Collect as many unique stamps as possible to redeem exclusive Children’s Season 2024 prizes! 1. Children’s Season 2024 at Children’s Museum Singapore
The annual Children’s Season returns, with Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG) leading the way for the first time. Themed ‘Innovation’, they hope to inspire children to explore amazing inventions through history and become creative thinkers themselves. Go on a satay adventure, catch Oodles of Noodles, join a Eurasian cooking workshop, and explore Into the Hawkerverse, CMSG’s latest special exhibition.

2. Let’s Go on a Food Trail at Armenian Street
Embark on a self-guided food trail along Armenian Street with adorable characters, WonderBot and Noodsly. Pop into its shops and museums and learn about the food, stories, and cultures in these historic spaces. For example, you can find out how spices are used in local dishes. Once you complete the trail, remember to redeem a token from the friendly staff at the CMSG ticketing counter.

3. Food for Thought at Former Ford Factory
Food for Thought is a poignant interactive theatrical experience set in post-war Singapore. Follow the Tan family as they strengthen their bonds while braving hardships like food-rationing together. During the programme, there will be role-playing opportunities in ‘Heart of Gold’. Through this interactive game, children can experience trying to budget and allocate resources for themselves and their loved ones.

4. Wrap Me Tight at Asian Civilisations Museum
Meera and her grandmother shared a magical connection, full of whispered secrets and playful moments. To honour her memory, Meera delves into her grandma’s treasured dupattas, transforming them into a whimsical sanctuary. Join this creative session and explore the art of improvisation, using the dupattas to craft objects for Meera’s special place. You can also try printmaking to add another layer to this heartwarming tribute.

5. My Friend, Mr Pirate! at Singapore Maritime Gallery

6. S.E.A. Aquarium presents Ocean Fest 2024
‘Themed ‘Righting the Future’, Ocean Fest by S.E.A. Aquarium is back for its fifth edition. Then complete the Marine Conservation Quest, a cardboard ‘arcade game’ by a team of local cardboard artists. 12. Learn & Discover with National Library Board (NLB)
Look forward to NLB’s diverse range of programmes for kids during the upcoming June school holidays. Highlights include logical thinking with Bee-Bot at library@harbourfront, Central Public Library’s annual Green Market, and inspiring young inventors with Spark!Lab.
