Skechers Friendship Walk 2024

Lace up your shoes, leash up your furry friends, and join the Skechers Friendship Walk 2024. Take a leisurely walk or run with your loved ones against the backdrop of the scenic city skyline. Race categories include a 10-km competitive run and a 4-km fun walk. After the run, venture into the village-themed carnival to enjoy performances by buskers, as well as engaging games and activities suitable for the whole family.

Hello Kitty 50th Run Fest 2024

Are you a Hello Kitty-loving family? Then join your favourite kitty and friends at the Hello Kitty 50th Run Fest 2024. Commemorating five decades of joy and merriment, two days of non-competitive kawaii-ness await. Lace those shoes and let charming photo ops and installations at Sentosa Sensoryscape lead you to the run venue. Look out for themed arches and precious pop-ups along the Adults 4km Fun Run and the Kids 900m Dash too.

Have Quackin’ Good Times with Donald Duck

Be part of Donald Duck’s epic 90th birthday bash in this Mickey and Friends takeover at VivoCity. Apart from a gorgeous Peranakan-themed pop-up where you can have a kopi date with Daisy Duck, there are activity zones where kids can play, win prizes, and bring home special Disney-theme collectibles. Check out oversized 3D installations of Donald, play a tune on the giant keyboard, and pen down birthday wishes for the world’s favourite Disney duck. Psst! There are adorable Donald and Daisy merchandise up for grabs too, like packing cubes, bath towels, and foldable shopping bags!

Singapore Cable Car x Hello Kitty Joint-50th Birthday Celebration

Singapore’s favourite happy place continues to spread happiness at three new venues. Two weeks ago, Timezone SingPost Centre opened with two new high-octane racing experiences. Then three days ago, an upsized outlet at Waterway Point launched, complete with Hologate VR and party rooms. Look out for the third new Timezone blasting soon into Pasir Ris Mall, with Drakons Realm Keepers and Highway Bowling.

Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show

In conjunction with Wellness Festival Singapore, National Gallery Singapore invites families to ‘Keep Learning’ at Gallery Wellness Special 2024. Delve into a diverse array of both guided and self-guided programmes to enrich your life and expand your horizons. From immersive art therapist-led workshops to captivating storytelling sessions, there’s something for every member of the family to enjoy.

DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

Chinatown Dragon Boat Festival

Head down to Smith Street for a fun-filled celebration of tradition. Learn the story behind the Dragon Boat Festival at a special exhibition. Feeling active? Race one another in a calorie-burning challenge and guess how many dumplings are in a sack. Or learn how to wrap Hainanese bak chang and make fermented rice wine with tangyuan. Enjoy lantern riddles, storytelling, crafts, traditional games, opera, and lion and dragon dances too.

Wan Qing Dragon Boat Festival Open House 2024

Celebrate Chinese culture and history with more fun twists at the Wan Qing Dragon Boat Festival Open House. Learn the story behind the ancient tradition while making yummy rice dumplings and mocktails. Plus, there’s tons for kids to do: build and race mini dragon boats across the lawn, navigate robots, challenge other families, and hear exciting myths come to life. It’s a weekend of family bonding and celebrating tradition in a fresh new way.

Peranakan speciality restaurant, Godmama, opens its second restaurant in the east. The 65-seater all-day restaurant serves close to 50 tried-and-tested Nyonya recipes. Must-tries include Otak Otak, Crayfish Nyonya Yellow Mee, and Godmama’s Dry Laksa. We love pairing Godmama’s Nasi Ulam with Ayam Buah Keluak too. Great Eastern Women’s Run 2024

The 18th edition of the Great Eastern Women’s Run returns this October at the Singapore Sports Hub. Singapore’s only all women’s running event will feature six categories. Aside from the competitive races, there’s the 2km ‘Mummy and Me’ event for mums and daughters aged five to 12, and the adorable 100m Princess Dash for three- to six-year-olds. Sanrio character Cinnamoroll will be on hand to cheer you on!
