Hi to mothers-to-be/experienced mothers,

Wish to know your reasons for your purchased insurance for baby. And if there is any important information we need to look out for before making our decision.

My colleague once bought Aviva for baby, but it doesnt cover from birth onwards, so she could not claim for baby's hospitalisation when baby was born.

Hi to mothers-to-be/experienced mothers,

An insurance for a child is to protect a child during their early and important stages of development. If a child is suspected to have any juvenile conditions (dyslexia/autism) they may not be able to buy in at all or have to wait till they are 5-8years old. At the same time the premiums will be cheaper than when they buy in the future.

Thus, do consider this important decision and look far ahead instead. Hospitalization and whole life plans are really important.

The plan your colleague bought is more than meets the eye. Rather than just listening to that factor there are other considerations as well. Is the child 100% healthy? Hospitalization plans are meant to cover the child after a certain period. Thus it is very important for the agent to go through every detail. Including Specialist/outpatient.
