If you're looking for a confinement nanny from 1 April 2025 onwards, I'd like to recommend Min Jie. :)

She is very experienced (15+ years), responsible, meticulous and always going above and beyond. She has been doing a wonderful job to care for my baby (super observant and gentle!), and supporting me throughout my confinement.

1. Her confinement meals are delicious (with alot of variety!) and she also takes extra care of my well-being, constantly checking in on me and ensuring I'm feeling ok physically and mentally. She will always remind me that it is important to rest after delivery and get more sleep while I can.

2. As first-time parents, we were very nervous and worried; but she has given us a lot of assurance, patiently guiding us on how to care, play and nurture the little one. Min Jie would talk and sing to our baby, helping him to develop motor and social skills.

3. Our baby had high jaundice in the first 2-3 weeks and she nursed him back to health, monitoring his feeds/poop/mood closely. She would also accompany us to the polyclinic during jaundice checkups and supported us to calm baby down every time he had to draw blood.

4. Our baby was also gassy, fussy and frequently spit out milk. Min Jie took extra care to make sure baby was feeding well, massaged him to relieve his gas, comforted and burped him multiple times at each feed.

5. Our baby required someone to accompany and soothe him to sleep, otherwise he will be awake all day. Min Jie would gently pat him so he could calm down and fall asleep in her arms, sometimes this required her to do so for 1-2 hours.

Min Jie was always willing & patient in addressing our queries, alleviating our concerns and guided us every step of the way (from carrying the baby, changing diapers, bathing/grooming baby, soothing baby, helping baby to nap/sleep soundly, etc.)

She is extremely organized and detail-oriented, helping us to organize all the essentials e.g. clothes, diapers, towels, changing mats, medical supplies, etc. She also keeps track of baby’s feeds and diaper changes, regularly updating us and sharing any changes she noticed.

Most importantly, Min Jie is kind-hearted, jovial, patient and has a genuine love for children (since she has many kids & grandkids herself!). Super grateful to have her with us :) We miss her lots and will gladly have her take care of our 2nd child in future!

Please PM me if you'd like to contact her. (Note: Min Jie speaks, reads and writes in Chinese only).

Wishing everyone a smooth pregnancy and a fulfilling motherhood journey. Hope this will help you!
