Worn only once to our Taiwan trip where the temperature is about 20deg.
The jacket is padded, so if worn with sweater and another inner, should be able to take weather of even 15deg.
Size wise, it should fit a bigger 3 year old or up to a slimmer 5 year old. My tall boy wore is when he was 4 turning 5. Will appreciate a pack of box tissues (the 5 paper boxes in one pack type).
