Hi. Incase you are not aware... For Science, your child will be tested on topics from P3-P6 for PSLE. Therefore, you must keep your books.

Sure, zestlessgal. Was actually posting to inform the general public cos I've met some parents who aren't aware

I noticed many use "My Pals are Here" series also. My son is using Perfect Match.

Anyway, does the school not have a corner for Recycle of Books where the Principal would encourage students to contribute their old unwanted books to support recycling?

It is a yearly affair at my son's school. Eventually, these unwanted and used books left behind at the corner will be sent to NTUC Fairprice for their annual Fairprice Used Textbooks Project.

I understand you want to buy them, yet what you cannot find here you may be able to get them over there.

I didn't know about this NTUC thing until last 2 years, so just sharing... Pls call NTUC Fairprice for more info!

I don't think I should take donated books as I thought it's best to give them to the needy families who need them more. Therefore going through buying 2nd hand from online is a good form of recycling. Told my girls about that and they are very fine with the ideas

As for science, yes, realized many uses my pal science. Not sure why too. I thought the content in my pals science is rather shallow. Schools are testing and teaching more than what's in the text.
