What do you use to check for ovulation?

Hello! Just asking around on what OPKs are you using to check for ovulation? I have been using those LH strips but I don’t really get those really positive two dark lines and it drives me a bit crazy trying to decipher them. Now using ClearBlue but it’s also discouraging that I don’t get the constant smiley face.
I just started tracking my CM as well and BBT.
Any other monitors or sorts that you use as well?
I have been getting ads on Mira tracker and Tempdrop but these are super pricey.

Hi, do you use mobile app to track your menstruations? I think the apps are pretty accurate on predicting ovulation (need a few cycles). Once you hit the app predicted period of ovulation, then use clear blue. That's what I did for both pregnancy. Hope it helps!

Hello !

I’m using both opk from q10 and also Clearblue advanced digital.

I do feel you as I didn’t get smiley face from D12-14 but D15 I got a smiley face! Keep trying you need some time to understand your body. FYI this is my second cycle with clomid.

I'm using the clearblue advanced digital, sometimes the smiley happens earlier sometimes later. For the first few months u likely have to keep testing everyday to roughly gauge ur ovulation day so keep trying!

I do use ovulation app and we have been trying for the past year with no success. Ovulation, if it was happening, didn’t seem to show up on the OPKs. There have been days I tested up to CD 19-20 and still nothing, hence I wonder if there’s something better for me to track with.

Ohh.. actually although I do get smiley faces i also didn't managed to conceive.

If u have been regularly baby dancing and still haven't conceive after a year maybe can do a body check up just to be sure u are ovulating and all is good.

I see. I am using app called flo. If it is different app you are using, can try flo. My menses sometimes is one every 30 days, 45 days, 60 days. It sort of take account into different cycle and predict. And has been very accurate. Everytime it indicates ovulation, I will try clearblue. So far I only used 3 stick of clear blue (one each cycle) for first pregnancy.

Personally I think the OPK works better than apps. I use the clear blue digital advance (with smiley faces) and it’s easy to understand. The days you get the smiley and constant smileys differ for each cycle but guess if it is what you notice on not getting a constant smiley u could consider seeing a doc... to get a blood work to explain
