Types of Baby Blankets

Hi, I'm a new mummy-to-be. There are a few common types of blankets on the market - fleece, thermal and muslin. Which type is better for our weather? Is this also used to swaddle babies to sleep?

Hopefully experienced mummies can guide. Thanks.

For sg weather anything in cotton is good enough. Muslin cloth is thin and airy, good for swaddling, then on top can put a cotton blanket is just nice. Don't think need fleece or thermal, they are more for cooler weather.

Hi @nvidia, thanks for the tips. There are too many pretty looking blankets out there that doesn't look suitable for our weather.

I am going to be a 3rd time mummy, I had used Chamois Blanket in winters, but cotton is the best for all seasons, I mostly bought that blankets through ChappyWrap coupons, and I have to complete my coming baby shopping also.
