In fact this scan can see bb more clear than tummy scan. . And only this scan can see heartbeat if ur bb is abt 6-7 weeks.

It's used during the first few weeks of pregnancy, when the bb is too small. Supposed to be clearer, like what the mummies above mentioned. I had mine done at week 6 for my twin boys and could see the heartbeats for both.
