Technology taking over

I want to know what everyone thinks of the increasing use of technology.

Toddlers now know how to use and operate electronics such as ipads, iphones etc and i'm not sure that is a good thing. In some cases it does help with development and i completely endorse this. However, my concern is when they would prefer to play on an ipad rather than in a park. You see it so often now a group of kids all with their heads on their screens rather than interacting with one another.

Indeed. The more advance in technology the younger generation ask for a better technology so technology have been increasing rapidly to fit in the generation itself. Well one of the reason that drive me to start up Singapore Run Club is because of this particular reason. We are all very busy with work and playing games on our iPhone, iPads, tablet, PC, laptop, etc and we have forget one important factor in life. That is our health. Nothing in the world is equal to your life. You cannot buy time back nor your health. It is only through consist hard work and effort put into your exercise.

Well... Since technology have been increasing, there's one good factor too. The prices have drop so much that in the past, a good laptop would cost thousands and thousands of dollars and now with a better technology it only cost a few thousand or hundreds. And I'm talking about the high end ones.. You could even find a laptop-computer at only $500 which runs on window 8.

There are many more benefit as they could learn things faster and with those education apps they would be smarter in the case and in my own opinion. But, we must also limit them too..

In conclusion, they are both good and bad but overall looking at the points, I think the increase in technology is great but it is only the way we use them or provide them to the younger generation without limit.
