Babies are the most picky eaters than compared to adults. In the first year of life, babies grow quickly. So it is important to feed them with nutritional foods as they need more energy and strength for their physical and mental development. The growth of the babies won't be steady and even, so that appetite and hunger may differ from stage to stage.
Breastfeeding is exclusively important for babies' growth and continues nursing the babies until 12 months. The amount of food intake and their interest in food may not be the same it may change day today. Don’t make your baby a picky eater, start to introduce solids around 6 months.
Once your babies are in the second half of the year start to feed them with fruit and vegetable purees. As they need more nutrients and minerals during this stage of their growth. Try to feed a single puree with a phase of 3-4 days start to feed new fruit or vegetable puree. Until 12 months don’t include sugar or salt in the baby's foods it may harm the health of your little one.
During the 9 months of the growth, the baby needs food rich in calcium and iron. Start including iron-rich lentils, and grains along with the fruit and vegetable purees, it will help in healthy weight gain and proper brain development for the babies. After 12 months start to feed the food that we cook with less salt and spices. Make your baby a healthy eater and not a picky eater.

The nutrition requirement of the babies is very much of fruits and vegetables. It is very important to feed the baby in the forms of purees and porridge of combinations like apple oats, spinach pear which will help in the growth and development of your baby. Always buy organic baby food, that do not contain preservatives, salt, sugar, colors.
