I'm thinking of switching doc.. I'm with Prof Chong Yap Seng but he is not the caring type. I asked him what supplements should I take he just said can buy from any pharmacy outside. The way he explains certain things he gives me the feeling like why am I so ignorant... I dont know just feel that the vibes from him isnt very good. I heard Prof Biswas is really nice and caring but I supposed it's difficult to get his appointment already. Any other nice gynaes to recommend?
I am with Dr Tony Tan Yew Teck from Raffles Hospital for my 2nd pregnancy. He was also my gynae for my first baby, and was highly recommended by my husband’s colleague, who was a senior consultant at KKH. He is very meticulous and personally does all his scans, even the detailed ones, instead of relying on the radiologist.
What I appreciate is that he is very well read on the latest research on OB/GYN and readily shares them with me whenever I have any queries or concerns. I ‘shopped’ around for a gynae for my first pregnancy, and decided he was the best after seeing up to 4 doctors from TMC and Mt E. I understand many of his patients are doctors or doctors’ wives. He is very busy though, so waiting time can be long...
