My wife is due for her 12+w scan/check up soon. At nuh we were offered NIPT by a company called igene.
We have tried to call them (hotline doesn't know anything, said will call back but no reply), email also went unanswered.
Our query is this.
How will data from the NIPT test be handled? Will it be stored at igene servers waiting to be leaked? Will it be provided to insurance companies to add to their exclusion lists?
