Helloo all..

i think like many...im in dilema of choosing my gynae. Here's the situation: I chose to do my delivery at KKH Pte Suite becuz my GP advises me that KKH is all-pro for deliveries.. should there be any complications, they have the equipments and most cases are transfered from the pte hospitals to KKH should any emergencies arised. But my prefered gynae in KKH will only be available in August and dat will be my 28th week..so they advised me to engage a private gynae while waiting for that date... so can anyone answer this... is it possible to engage a pte gynae like Dr. Geraldine or Dr. Natalie during the interim until August? Im on my 8th week and have not seen any gynae yet... plus i have quite a heavy discharge.. i feel so sluggish.... :((

There are many good and experienced gynae in KKH so just relax and enjoy every moment of your pregnancy. Don't stress yourself and insist on this particular gynae. Just take good care of yourself as the baby is developing in your womb and doctor cannot do miracle if complication occurred. It will be more comfortable to settle down on a gynae. Smooth pregnancy and delivery.

Hello mummy, i am glad you have narrow your prefer hospital, this will make thing easier. You can actually discuss this situation with your current preferred gynac and ask him/her to reccommend you to a gynac within KKH that he/she is very familiar with. Let him/her know your intention is to switch back to him/her in August.

Please go see a gynac ASAP. You are 8th week and having heavy discharge yet have not seen any doctor. This is not good beco a good gynac is after all just one of the many piece of the puzzle to a successful uneventful delivery.

Jia you.

Helooo Mommies!

Finally had my first check-up with Dr. Natalie Chua last week!! She looks so young!..much younger and chio-er than her cheongsam profile pic and also I think she lost some weight. She seems very approachable, simple, fast and all-ready to answer hubby's and my questions. She assured me that everything seems fine; shared with her about my discharge and she said not to be panic cuz it might just be yeast infection..so I went for a swab test and she told me if i don't receive any calls in 2 days it means nothing serious..and its already a week now...and it has vanished anyway!

Though I feel nausea 24/7 i dont puke as what I did on my 7th week..but it's amazing how much I love spicy food now when I actually cant stand chili sauce in the past!! My leg ballooned up like elephant but Dr, Chua said its water retention and asked if i walked alot recently; which I actually did during my family trip to Malacca. So yeah, I think if everything is fine I will just proceed with her and just sharing how her charges works:

Hello, so happy that you found a gynac that your hubby and yourself is happy to work with. Thanks for sharing with everyone the price list of this gynac. I notice there is a plus 2%, quite curious what is that 2% for?

Thanks

I assume its a service charge... so instead of the usual 10% service charge that we pay for our general purchases.. this clinic or gyne is charging 2% on top of the 7% GST

Hello, such service charges honestly i very new and strange to me. I mean it is afterall not a restaurant ya. Hee hee

yeah right.. but then again wat to do.. my first bill csme up to slightly over $300.. im still thinking if i shud sign up package..
