Hi everyone,
My name is Daniel and I'm actually the Research Assistant for a local university. How are you doing?
Few months back, our government initiated a study called the ECDA Parenting Landscape Survey and my university has been commissioned to conduct the study. It looks into four key areas of parenting - Knowledge, Attitude, Practices and Resources. It is the first study to better understand parents like yourself, and myself, parenting.
Some of you may have been interviewed by my team and I want to thank you for that. However, we're constantly looking out for Singaporean parent who has a Singaporean child at the age of 8 years or below to undergo the interview and contribute back to our government for policy implementation. In other words, your voice is needed and it matters. Hence, I'm asking if you would be interested to take part in this study and allow my team to interview you?
Honestly, I must say it is very difficult for my team now to approach parents as the idea of 'survey' has been affected negatively for commercial purposes. Nonetheless, rest assured that the responses you give form the crucial part of our data analysis - in which the report will be submitted to ECDA for their review and, perhaps, action.
I sincerely hope I can have more interested mothers here who can help me with this effort.
