Need help in the upbringing of my nephew

He gets angry easily.
Whenever he is angry, he likes to use his head to bang the floor or just lie on the floor.

Initially i talk to him but now i do cane him once awhile.

The caning only work temporary as my sister is his kao san.

This kid is smart, he will look out for those who spoilt him before he throws tantrum.

No medical background, he is only 4 year old. But i realised whenever i teach him how to speak in a sentence, he only speaks the last word. For instance, i taught him say sorry to mama, he only says mama. However, his mum's character is one of a kind in the world. What i meant as in the snappy part of his mum, she can talk to you in a while and snap in a second.

4 year old... can he speak in sentences on his own? I would advise against caning. That worked in the old days. Kids these days have good nutrition and get smart real early. It teaches them that it is ok to hit people. Punish by taking away tv/iPad time etc. Reward with tv/iPad/ time or snacks etc. when he does what you ask.

Head banging can be a sign of an inability to deal with emotions. And it can also be a sign of more serious issues. I suggest watching him and see if he fits the profile for ADHD etc.

Hi I would suggest don’t cane him. 4 years old is too young to cane and no use to cane. Today cane tomorrow he forgets.
He can’t talk or express himself well so he is frustrated and get angry easily.
My 2nd son throw tantrum ,scream whole day, perfectionist...etc..Use head to bang floor or wall...etc .throw temper every few times / day. I have headache and feel depressed cuz of him but suddenly till he turned 5 ,he behaved normal.

I believe your Nephew will outgrow. Give him some time.
And does he take nap? My boy doesn’t nap and maybe that’s y he was so bad temper too.

My nephew does take nap and he is just very hot tempered.

My advise is bring him to ployclinic to see a doc n get a referral letter to see a specialist in kk.
I think he is autism child..
Are u non chinese?
