Soffyah is doing great, she is catching up quickly on speech and object recognition. She will turn 2 in April, and we will again meet the neurosurgeon who will examine any physical or behavioral abnormalities.

She has been very fascinated to soft toys, has a very cheerful personality, loves to sing and has been a very easy baby to look after.

It is an indeed a miracle reading your experience and how you showed so much strength and faith. Baby Soffyah is not only special but is lucky to such special mummy.

Hi Lay

Thanks for the post.

Actually, I was not a pillar of strength at all, for the many months I was a nervous wreck. But I began to spill out my worries through talking to myself and to God, and even to Baby Soffyah.

I chose not to discuss much about my baby to my family members, because I was afraid of comments they might have. Especially, when they are not familiar with the actual complication that my baby was having.

I still continue to pray that my child will not have any further complication.
